Based on events that led to Feb 24, I believe there was an outrageous and suicidal provocation called "just existing".

So, this is "just existing":
The armed conflict in Eastern Ukraine started in 2014. Between then and early 2022, it had already killed over 14,000 people.

^ Oh, surely, you should just give your territory for free to a bunch of hostile puppets so you don't annoy your bully neighbour playing those puppets?
But as things were entering a frozen conflict phase there, it's apparently a valid reason to start a full scale invasion.

Ever heard of "victim blaming"?

Did I place blame anywhere? I was pointing out that saying that 14,000 people dying in internal conflict as being unremarkable\"normal ("just existing") suggests a belief that this situation should continue indefinately, rather than requiring some action being taken to stop this continuing unnecessary (and wasteful) loss of life. What would have been better would have been for the UN to intervene, rather than have a continuation of something similar to what exists within Israel\occupied territories. As this did not occur, we ended with was Russia taking a page from NATO's book and stepping in.

Yes, in the picture you posted.

By loss of (at least) tens of thousands lives more, forcing millions to flee their homes, doing irreperable damage to infrastructure and taking the whole world hostage by threatning it with global famine?

The person whose face is used on this picture neither started the Donbas conflict nor made it worse, so yes, he was just existing.

Obvious Russia sympathies are obvious.

Putin, Medvedev and Lavrov are on a sinking ship. Who is most likely to be saved?

The original answer was "Russia" but seeing how things developed, I believe it's actually "the world".

Putin, Medvedev, and Lavrov are pushed off a thousand-metre cliff together.  Who hits the ground first?

It doesn't really matter, does it?
