Don't you think it's at all over the top? I mean, you can see videos of people in his position being screamed at while having guns in their faces from robbers and they don't freak out. Or the store being trashed by thugs.

Robbers only want some cash. Not that big a deal compared to a corrupt leader that could very well be in Russia's pocket.

and attacking the arguer instead of the argument is called an ad hominem, a logical fallacy that will lose the debate for you in a moderated debate. it's a distraction that doesn't further the discussion.

You don't get to refer to formal rules of debate when you run out of lies to tell. Debate implies a good faith effort to address the subject, not using the forum as a platform for white nationalist rhetoric.

rules of debate fit ALL situations because they just follow logic.

Rules of debate are not philosophical positions, but formal rules for a discussion. And I don't agree to have a formal debate.

It's not Trump in the store. It's just someone who voted for him, which is half of Americans who voted.

This thread contains plenty of hysteria about the MAGA hat.

viewtopic.php?t=372565

It's the notion that everyone who wears the hat is terribad, it's like you people want them to be bad people. That there's nothing they could do to change your mind, you don't want to change your mind, you want them to be bad.

Ad hominem replies are against the formal rules of this subforum.

I call it righteous anger and disgust. I'm proud of that dude.

An opinion I didn't think was possible to exist.

How could you not feel anything other than the deepest shame and self loathing unmanning yourself like that in public and then on camera in front of the World?

It's a spontaneous natural expression of visceral disgust. I only wish I had the courage to be that expressive in public.

It's not courage, it's a total lack of will and control, it's disgusting weakness.

The clerk was not being paid to throw a temper tantrum and curse out customers and was thus rightfully fired. In the larger scheme of things it is hypocritical to criticize Trump for acting like a toddler then react by acting like a toddler.

The clerk was just stupid. I’d have to agree with that.

I don’t believe in refusing service to people unless they’re acting out and abusing other customers or staff.

Not for Indians / Native Americans.

Not for all those homeless people.

Not for all those millions of meth or opiate addicts.

Not for all those other people for whom the "American dream" turned out to be an "American nightmare".
