In retrospect it was a probably a bit outside the realms of most peoples meme knowledge. The original picture was a bunch of suspicious looking men at a "Justice for J6" rally widely believed to be the least inconspicuous undercover federal agents ever pictured. That edited version appeared after it was reported that the agents raiding Mar-a-lago spent a great deal of time pawing through Melania's clothes.

I was particularly impressed by the character on the right with someone else's hair clippings on his shoulders, and how his lower half is standing behind the dress his top half is wearing. That's a neat trick.
