The Clinton's have a net worth in the 9 figures, how?!?!?! Look at her record, look at how she is beholden to the special interests of Wall Street.

Look how beholden Republicans are to the special interests of the gun lobby, against the will of the people.

In the USA it seems as both parties mission (at least in Congress a good percentage of the time) is to FUNd raise for their PARTY and themselves.

The NRA stopped being an 'advocacy group for gun owners' a long time ago; it's been an advocacy group for gun manufacturers for decades. Even most gun owners want universal background checks and suspected terrorists to be kept from guns; the only ones who think that's a good idea are the ones who profit from selling guns.

How is Wall Street corrupt? It's just an advocacy group for the rich.

The best advocacy group for gun manufacturers are the gun grabbers themselves, the NRA really is only as powerful as it's membership and its really not all that influential on lawmakers so much as the fear backlash from the voters. Gun violence has been going down for decades while gun ownership has skyrocketed.

You have a tendency to make posts that contain no correct statements. Gun ownership hasn't skyrocketed. There are less people who own guns now than in the past. Gun sales are going up because paranoid gun owners ate building stockpiles on the fear that Obama's going to take them. The NRA is incredibly influential on republics politicians. If they weren't there would have been a vote in the house.

The only thing your right about is we've had a decrease in gun violence. But violence in general is also decreasing. And that just goes to show how bad this problem is. We've had a steady decline in violence and yet there were still 52 people who in Chicago over father's day weekend. It's not always gang members shot either. Just recently a little girl was shot in the back while she played in the front yard, also in Chicago. There were 125 gun deaths in the week following Orlando. Japan on the other hand will usually have their numbers in the single digits over the course of a year. Now I'm not saying we should become Japan, but how do you square that with the idea that even if guns are illegal criminals will still get them?

The idea that more guns equals more safety is a perfect example of cognitive dissonance.

You nailed the stats. It's also true that violence has dropped precipitately for a long while. Even counting conflict deaths such as ISIS, violence is way down. Unfortunately, our media of all stripes seems to follow the axiom of 'if it bleeds, it leads'. They also lead with big stories for days without any new newsworthy facts. So, it feels like the world is a more dangerous place. It also doesn't help that Republicans politicians play the fear card whether it's warranted or not...

I know nothing, except that I prefer Trump over Clinton.

What did you think of Trump's talk in Scotland, congratulating them?

Trump did get some great press for his Golf course suites

Sweet, my favorite kind of advertising-free.

I really loved that kind when I did the entertainment thing full time for a few years during my younger years.

Do you believe in making your own economy (legally of course) in the good bad and ugly Stock market days and years)

Please explain your first 3 words for me.

Did you mean take in information?

I don't get all expressions.

I understand the poll link

Also do you and others think a VP choice influences polls and voters?

That pretty much covers it. I don't believe that a VP choice does much for any candidate.

Learning from the past.

Another Lion King that applies to the US of A's Presidential race. (Or not)
