Iran's Getting Ugly
All 5000?

Ahmedinejad is not anti semitic, he loves the JUews and only opposes Zionism which is completly different to Judaism.
He doesn't seem to think the same about the country's homosexuals, indeed he seems to deny their existance.

Iran is a quiet little no-account country in the middle of Asia.
They wanted a nuclear power station so they joined the international atomic energy treaty and contracted with Russia to build them a power station.
The international inspectors have said and continue to say that they are NOT enriching uranium to weapons grade.
But for some reason Israel and America want to invade them tomorrow.
Could it be because they have oil?

Mousavi represents the Mr. Moneybags of Iran, Hashemi Rafsanjani. Why would Iranians vote for that? Really. Rural areas voted for Mr. Moneybags in 2005? (Rafsanjani ran to regain the presidency that year)... Rafsanjani is not popular!
Why do so many say that a criticism of the powerful or the rich is a manifestation of "the culture of envy" and the usual nonsense? Why is it wrong to question the way stories are being covered?
The wealthier people in Iran, many of them, are mad at Ahmadinejad for devoting so many resources and time to the "undeserving poor".... they are really those supporting Musavi. Why should we support such people?
As for homosexuals, the Shi'ite clergy in general is intolerant of them... Musavi is part of that too.

I know it's been a long time since you posted this. But it's really interesting how you sound exactly like the government propaganda on IRIB and such.
Didn't know that 90 percent of the people I know (who dislike A.N, as any sane person would) and I myself are wealthy!! ! oh wait, we're not! so there goes your brilliant informed theory!
What you said about the kind of person Rafsanjani is, is true though. Our votes were a no to A.N and not a yes to Mousavi or Karoubi. There was no other option. It was a choice between bad and much worse. Between sickness and death. What choice would you have made? as you can see we found out that even that much of a choice had been taken away.
The wealthier people didn't vote against A.N, the more informed and educated people did. I think you can find the connection there between that and why he says he got the vote of the poor living in rural areas(whose numbers is far far from 24 millions-which he chose just so he could claim he got more votes than Khatami). 5-6 millions are the actual votes he got from the numbers that leaked from the ministry.

I fear that your reformation's first attempt has failed but I think you already realized that , many were killed, many were jailed, many women were raped in prisons by the basij sickos ...damn, even some funerals were banned. I am sorry to say that, but Mousavi is also a bastard idiot for agitating armless citizens against those animals without estimating the bloody consequences, he sent them straight to their death/torture/rape. As a popular leader, he also has responsibility for the safety of his supporters!
Could be the whole thing a trap against the reformists? Was this 'hero' a part of this game to expose who are the reformists? I know how manipulative such regimes can be.
I wonder how long it will take to change this regime, your cause is hopeless without a foreigner aid , It seems that the US/west doesn't want it to be changed to. After all, it's good for their leaders to keep a scarecrow in our region for their people.
Most politicians are just bastard idiots today. It's all that's needed to get power. Certainly not any real planning or cunning. Just money and the want of power and willingness to be a steaming douche.

Getting back to the original fantasy premise that Iran is about to join the multiplying members of the Atomic weapons club this article http://www.counterpunch.org/cloughley10022009.html indicates that the USA is traveling down the same path that the previous administration used to fabricate nonsense about Iraq harboring weapons of mass destruction to conquer the world. Precisely why the Iraq war came about is still wandering through a maze of confusing possibilities from revenge for threatening G.W.Bush's father to securing solid control of Mid East oil to endowing Iraqi people with the wonders of American democracy to providing a rich market for the American arms industry to protecting the Israeli ghetto from any future threats. Iran is not Iraq and the USA in the guise of Brer Rabbit seems about to start whacking another tar baby to complete its demise economically and morally as it seems to be inevitable descending into a hell of its own fashioning.

I don't see how we have failed. This is just the beginning. No one expects a brutal regime like this to give up in a matter of months. What people say here is that they will support Mousavi for just as long as he stands by the people and what they want. He knows that. I didn't even vote for him and I don't view him as my leader, but I am of the same opinion. We have to see if this movement grows and moves into the right direction in the long haul, so that all this high price given by the people won't be wasted and taken advantage of like 1979.
Members of the Reformist parties were already jailed on the first couple of days after the elections. Reformist are or were part of this regime and most of them don't want to actually see it collapse. it's a last option for them. which is different from what most people want.
We have to do this on our own. The only thing foreign powers-eastern and western alike- have done for us, is hurt and setback the democratic movements in Iran. They couldn't care less about what happens to the people in Iran as long as they get what they want. Much like the Islamic regime itself actually.
most Informed Iranians don't want this government to have nuclear bombs more than others in the world do. The moment they have their hands on it, they will answer to nobody and Iran will become like north Korea.
I myself am very anxious to find out where Obama is going with all of this. Have you noticed how A.N and his government are sucking up to him?
Something I find ridiculous is these western polling organizations doing polls by phone in Iran, and then claiming the results are true. Heck if someone called my home and asked questions of the sort, I'd either refuse to answer or only be truthful about things that I'd knew wouldn't get me in trouble. It's the same for most others. how they ignore that fact is amazing.
