Why leftist hate economics so much?

If he is for real his IQ must be below the 50th percentile. His moral caliber is probably below 1%.

I'm smarter than 99% of the world population. If I take your claims at face value, then there are nearly 300 million people in this world who are smarter than you, but dumber then me. I am not going to be extremely wealthy, and it has nothing to do with government intervention. In fact, I would be significantly worse off economically if not for government intervention. I know some true idiots who are going to be extremely wealthy thanks to family connections rather than their own alleged genius. Wealth is not decided on the basis of intelligence.

this is because America is NOT a pure free-market
In a true free market system everyone get EXACTLY what they created....it is LOGICAL and you can't demonstrate the opposite without rely on some dogmatic assumptions "all man are equal" and BS like that
but when government intervene in the market some filthy burocrats, lobbyists and welfare queen get all share at our expense
I'm sorry to hear your misadventure but honestly answer me.....if IQ mean nothing while there is a correlaction between IQ and Income?
Ah i know you are a liberal so you think IQ is a pseudo-unscientific test because Black score on average lower than white
"You have the courage to tell the masses what no politician told them: you are inferior and all the improvements in your conditions which you simply take for granted you owe to the efforts of men who are better than you.
If this be arrogance, as some of your critics observed, it still is the truth that had to be said in this age of the Welfare State." (letter from Von Mises to Ayn Rand)

So, with it all...wouldn't that mean that our system is, in fact, a triumph of libertarian values considering that the rules are created by those who succeed in achieving the most important power and dictating that power to the masses? The smartest move one can make is to limit the ability of others to challenge your position. If you see government limitation, it's because you're not good enough; not because you're a victim.

"Exactly what they created" doesn't mean that there is a strong relationship between IQ and earnings. IQ isn't the only variable in ability to create, and arguably network effects may be relevant.

A correlation doesn't mean the correlation is incredibly strong or relevant at all levels. Frankly, IQ correlates with other good qualities, so... it could really be that the issue is those other good qualities.

Nope. I won't read some garbage justification for whining about why you're such a victim rather than actually being successful. Cry somewhere else, little boy.

Oh, while I agree that the poster suggesting the book is garbage, Bryan Caplan is actually a scholar. I haven't read that book, but I would like to do so, and I read Caplan's writings regularly and consider the man educated, intelligent, and to have a very clever mind.

Actually no. You only get what people are willing to give you. Create something nobody wants and you won't get anything in return. Also, if I were an employer I'd never hire someone like you. You'd have to make do starving like a dog on the streets until you learned some humility.

It doesn't help that the book is basically what I already know: most people are stupid and can't comprehend politics and economics. Not to imply that I comprehend the formulas and intricacies of economics but I understand the basic logic of raw economics and am still developing my political stance; which is probably another reason why I'm particularly annoyed with this poster: I've already gone through the whole libertarian phase and found it vastly wanting in terms of truly developing a complete society that reduces crime, increases productivity and innovation, and generates national wealth.

I served the US navy
I went to Afghanistan....3 long months...i saw people die
I have learned thought experience things you armchair leftist never imagine
And guess what? most of people there are rightwing conservative or libertarian
There are no socialists in the foxholes
the liberals/obamacomunist are too busy in their circle-jerking in some sociologist/english literature department of some f*****g Academia trying to brainwash the future generation to "socialist ideals" but if there weren't for us every nations would invade us tomorrow

Right, no, I don't think you have anything to learn from this poster.

You've learned nothing. You are a royal POS. I'm so tired of seeing sociopaths misdiagnosed with AS.

Since, in your weird world, "socialist" means "reform-liberal" rather than "coordinationist or cooperativist ideology left of social democracy" (I'm a social democrat, by the way), how do you explain Pat Tilman, Joe Sestack, and John Kerry?

Even given that most voters are irrational or have limited rationality, the point remains that the "meritocratic geniuses" such as yourself should be "smart enough" to game the legalistic and electoral system to have your "genius policies" implemented. If you really are such divine people, surely you'd know how to fool your way past the "moronic masses", wouldn't you?

Given that Sweden's Centre-Right Prime Minister agrees with all of Obama's policies, one could make a strong case that Obama's a moderate conservative.
