they are causing death to us that s true ..but this how the US gov finish hizbollah??? by destroying the whole country???!
i say there s other ways to end hizbollad ....for example finishing the syrian and iranian regimes who are sending them weapons ....when u finish the root the tree dies alone ...

It's not the US Gov. deciding how to deal with Hezbollah. Israel has done this on their own, and the US has allowed it. The US by doing nothing, is giving Israel a certian degree of approval.

I would like to see Syria and Iran go down myself, but taking on a country like Iran is no small task. The Majority of Muslims don't like us as it is, starting war with Iran could spark a full blown Jihad. Besides, there's a strong enough opposition party in Iran, that the current government could be thrown out peacefully. I wish the same was possible with Syria.

...and even the majority of christians here don't like you as well....they never forget the Kesenger deal abt taking them out of lebanon and make a paletstinian state in the lebanese christian regions.....

this is not the first time the lebanese or a big part of them are backstabbed by US gov.....

Not fair deal for the Palestinians. Britain gave Palestine away, but Palestine wasn't Britain's to give. The Palestinians disagreed but it happened anyway...

BUT - at this point I don't believe it's useful to dispute Israel's right to exist. Now the Israelis live there, and they have a right to live there, just like everyone in the countries around have a right to live in their countries. Destroying Israel isn't the solution; allowing Palestinians to live somewhere - some in Israel, and some in Arab countries - so that they aren't refugees for the rest of eternity - that's the solution. No more war, no more oppression, no more terrorism, no more stupid violence.

I wish you Americans would just stay within your own borders. You can do whatever you like there. I don't have a problem with that. Turn it into a fascist dictatorship with Bush II in charge for all I care. Just leave the rest of the world alone to sort their own problems out and attempt to live in relative peace. In short, the rest of the world DOESN'T WANT YOU!

It would be very nice to see the Palestinians with their own land and Israel with peace. But the two can't happen at the same time. Ariel Sharon, in his quest for peace, shattered his support within his political party by making the Israelis pull out of Gaza Strip and give it to the Palestinians. Of course, they thanked him by using Gaza to shell Israelis with rockets.

And why is it that, when debate occurs, that you're only able to place a few facts - generally talking points from MoveOn or something of that nature - on the table? And even then, your position can't be held up and you fall back on screaming about evil America and stupid Americans (even though those "stupid" Americans play you for a fool every time you post anything)?

Do you even realize that your moral justification as to why it's ok for terrorists to attack America would also justify Israel if they were to deliberately slaughter civilians like you claim they do?

I am perfectly able to speak for the rest of the world because I read about what they think. The papers I get have reporters on the ground in very dangerous areas (like Lebanon at the moment) interviewing local people. Of course, the results are mixed - not everyone hates America. However, generally speaking, they do hate American occupation and interference and the associated corruption at the higher levels of their government, meaning they as a people cannot make their own choices and sort their own problems out. They resent a foreign presence in their country. Often the terrorists you hate so much are the sons of mothers that have been "accidently" killed in the conflicts. They are angry and they turn to extremist organisations for security and justice for the deaths of their families.

LePetitPrince is a prime example. He said that he was pro-West before this. Now he seems to hate Israel and resent America for refusing to influence Israel into withdrawing. Lebanon is a democratic country - now crippled by a unjustifiable war. Moderate Muslims who once thought Hezbollah were nutters now think of them as heros - the only force willing to stick up for them and Islam in general.

Israel's war will only ensure lots of new recruits into Hezbollah. They must be laughing now at Israel's stupidity. What's more, Lebanon's economy is now destroyed. How will the people earn a living. Answer: they will join extremist organisation like Hezbollah and attack whatever it was that hurt them - Israel.

The "War on Terror" is a war you cannot win, McJeff - you can only appease. Peace and tolerance are the only answers.

I do not know Hezbollah's history is but I have to admit they started the war with
a military on military action(they were not first to target civil population centers),
but then again maybe they planned it to lead to civil attacks on both sides.
On another note in the news today there is a story that when the war is over
the US will give the Lebabnese government a massive $10 billion military aid package. I think regardless how much we are hated now we will be liked in the
future(in Lebanon).

Only the northern half was controlled by the Lebanese government. Hezbollah is the "de facto" government of the southern half. Get your facts straight, EUROTRASH!!
