I think the actual bottom line is that most people probably shouldn't be allowed to drive because they're distracted people in general and cannot operate a motor vehicle responsibly.

Maybe should start calling it a murder vehicle to really emphasize the level of responsibility with it.

Then how about you for starters try driving with your cell phone off and/or not text and drive... Cars don't kill people (unless they are defective) it is the people behind the wheel doing something else stupidly that causes the accident (assuming weather isn't a factor).

It's rare I even answer my phone in my car unless I actually remembered to put in my Bluetooth headset and even then I'll ignore conversation to focus on driving when the situation demands it (ie, someone else obviously isn't paying attention or is looking to do something stupid).

So in a liberal's mind it is okay for Clinton to have had affairs and commit perjury, but Newt Gingrich has no business being President because he had affairs (about 15 years ago), and did not commit perjury.

The impeachment of Clinton was about obstruction of justice and committing perjury, not the fact that he couldn't keep his pants on.

Yup - that's about it.

Clinton wasn't re-elected after all that hullaballo - though polls show he could have been. The issue is that Gingrich is a hypocrite, and a disingenuous one at that. He won't be president because he won't get the votes. That is the only criteria that matters in a democratic republic.

How was Gingrich a hypocrit if the impeachment was over Clinton committing perjury? Gingrich didn't commit perjury.

If you continue with this Clinton-reference nonsense I'm going to honestly say you have no integrity in this discussion. We are talking about Gingrich, not something that happened more than ten years ago. Can you please not change the subject for once? It might work in IRL discussions but unfortunately past comments are plain to see here

In that case you would be the one that had no integrity, because Gingrich hasn't had any affairs in the past 10 years. So, why are you saying you can bring up things that happened over a decade ago, but I can't bring up the hypocracy of your statements?

I'm actually bringing up the comments that Gingrich made recently in regards to his adultery. You honestly want a guy who bangs women on the side because of his pent up patriotic blue balls, go ahead. And still with the Clinton! :lmao:

Nobody's perfect, especially not guys like Gingrich or Clinton. But the fact remains he banged what, 3 women on the side? And his excuse is just insulting to the people of America. Clinton banged a lot more than that, and then proceeded to lie about things before a Federal Grand Jury. We've had a lot of Presidents that have had affairs, FDR, JFK, and Clinton are ones I can name off the top of my head, I'm sure there were Republican Presidents that had affairs as well.

Apparently he was a very "gifted" and had a high libido.

To be honest, a lot of the affairs things strike me more as an indicator to a psychological attraction to selfish power and I wouldn't want any of them in charge. Democrats included.

It's not just that he had affaris, it's that he divorced his wives for younger women several times, at least once when the wife was in the hospital for cancer. That's considerably more morally suspect than JFK having a fling with Marilyn.

I doubt that is accurate - maybe half, at most, of drivers would fail the test; most would simply study harder, learn more, and consequently be better drivers.
edit: I am not a licensed pilot, but I have flown a plane. I was not impressed by how difficult it was.
