FL Governor Scott wants drug test for welfare recipients

The good news with Scott's antics is that he's possibly the most unpopular governor in the country. Rivaled by the Republican in Ohio. So you have two key 2012 swing states where the governor can't help the GOP candidates very much and may even hurt them.

The GOP is really going to think hard about putting someone from Florida or Ohio in the VP slot.

I agree with not letting food stamps be used to buy junk food because:
It's my tax dollars paying for the food, and it's my tax dollars being used to pay for the health problems associated with bad food. I don't mind my tax dollars being used to buy hunting and fishing supplies or canning supplies or gardening supplies. I don't mind my tax dollars going to buy lobster. I do mind if you use my money to buy the soda and twinkles that give you diabetes and other diet associated health problems, and then use my tax dollars to pay for those problems or make yourself so sick off bad food choices that you take yourself out of the labor force completely and you depend on my tax dollars to support you.

I agree with drug-testing those receiving aid because:
At this point, virtually all employers include a clause about randomly testing their employees at any time. From Fed-Ex to Intel, they all say they'll test you. Welfare is supposed to be temporary aid for while you train for/seek employment. How am I supposed to believe that you are sincerely seeking employment if you can't pass a drug test for crack?

Gov. Scott probably wants to bring back slavery as well.

He apparently thinks black people are lazy.
