Is that why the "Liberal Media" was on him about Monica Lewinski for years on end?

They had to be dragged kicking and screaming to cover it and then decided it got them good ratings.

Here is a question: Why did it take the National Enquirer to expose the John Edwards affair?

Maybe because nobody had ever heard of the affair prior to that? And c'mon, it's the National Inquirer; few people believe anything they've printed in the first place.

Actually the individual who gave the story to the enquirer first tried to give it to a left wing newspaper, and that paper refused to cover it.

You wrote: a left wing newspaper. That implies only one had been searched out prior to going to the Inquirer. Who's to say some other paper wouldn't have picked it up?
And the fact of the matter is, stuff about high profile affairs is generally seen as tabloid garbage anyhow, regardless if it has any merit. It's not like Edwards was holding any high office at the time, in which he had violated a code of conduct. Unlike that wing nut governor who went hiking the Appalachian Trail in Brazil.

Here is what the National Enquirer has on Rick Perry

http://www.nationalenquirer.com/is-it-t ... ry-secrets

Quote:
As Texas Gov. RICK PERRY zips past MATT ROMNEY in the GOP Prez polls, The ENQUIRER digs deep to get some deets about the dark horse.

His real first name is NOT “Rick”. His full name is James Richard "Rick" Perry.

Rick is certainly a very "gay" name to go by. "James" has a more heterosexual ring to it.

Quote:

A fifth-generation Texan, Perry was born in Paint Creek, about 60 miles north of Abilene, Texas to ranchers Joseph Ray Perry and the former Amelia June Holt. His dad was a Democrat.

Well, we do know that ranchers get lonely sometimes.

Quote:

As a lad, Perry was a member of the Boy Scouts and attained the rank of Eagle Scout;

No comment from me.

Quote:
Initially, he was not elected Texas Governor. Perry assumed the governorship in December 2000 when then-governor George W. Bush resigned to become President of the United States.

Hmmmm....

Quote:

Attending Texas A&M, Perry was a “yell-leader” AKA a male cheerleader.

Definitely a "gay" calling, if there ever was one. Not macho enough for the football team, but, as a cheer-leader, some of the football players no doubt noticed him and asked him to dances.

Quote:

During college, he was a “good ol’ boy” prankster - he once placed live chickens in the closet of an upperclassman and used M-80 firecrackers to startle students using the toilet.

He is interested in startling other boys on the toilet. Definitely queer.

Quote:

After a stint in the Air Force ended in 1977, Capt. Perry returned home to grow cotton with his father.

Quote:

A grim encounter with death at the funeral of US Rep. Sam Rayburn (D-TX) reportedly prompted his interest in politics.

The National Enquirer is unusually silent about the details of the encounter.

Quote:

A fervent Christian, Perry is a big fan of the Death Penalty. Texas has executed 234 prisoners since Perry became governor.

Definitely some sadistic tendencies.

Quote:

He is a “Pro-Lifer” and believes in intelligent design. Asked about evolution, Perry responded: "Well, God is how we got here. God may have done it in the blink of the eye or he may have done it over this long period of time, I don't know. But I know how it got started.

A "pro-lifer" who also enjoys executing people. And, a nut-job to boot.

Quote:

Perry possesses a Concealed Handgun License and has an A+ rating from the National Rifle Association.

He likes to shoot his gun.

As for Rick getting lonely out on the ranch...
The Kinsey report on male sexuality had discovered that many older men in rural western areas of the timed often engaged in homosexual behavior. This was because of the scarcity of women on the western frontier, back in the day. And there were many ballads sung by especially Texas cowboys about man-on-man love among the drovers. Maybe Rich is keeping that tradition alive.

Rick Perry is, most definitely, gay.

This doesn't come from Mainstream Media, and is therefore, by definition, true.

The reports are finally starting to make their way into the Mainstream Media

http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/blogs/abr ... y_id=95718

And, from the Ellis County Observer:

Is the Robert Morrow mentioned here the former CIA contract agent, and author of controversial books on the JFK and RFK assassinations?

Well, the House Committee On Assassinations took him seriously. Oliver Stone, while working on his movie JFK had been warned to take anything he said with a grain of salt. My impression of the man is that he had been in a position to know where the metaphorical bodies were buried (Kennedy assassination), in regard to the CIA's secret war against Castro's Cuba, but he also had no problem with making claims to "being in the know" by leaning heavily on the work of researchers and other alleged witnesses.
Please, make no mistake; even if I may also take Morrow with a grain of salt, that hardly means I'm going to be a Perry supporter.
