Oh so now your going to attack my religion culture and family that isn't very nice :wall:

When your religion, culture and family endorse barbaric practices then I'll most certainly point out this fault, regardless of how "nice" it makes me look.

I love my religion, culture and family I do not care what you think about it. Abortion is also barbaric but you have yet to explain to me how it isn't.

I'll pick it up in the abortion thread.

But once exposed to the elements, it dries out rather quickly making it inedible.

I have a response, but I think it's best left to the adult forum.

You've said that a few times now yet I never see anything in the Adult forum. Not knowing is driving me nuts, tell us! :(

You'd need to suck it to keep it wet.

"peeled" sounds HORRIBLE! just imagine, if circs were routinely described by one's friendly neighborhood pediatrician, as "the process of peeling away the foreskin from the glans" - the parents who didn't swoon right off the bat would run screaming with their screaming bundle of joy, away from the place. might as well say ripping or tearing or such.

An interesting book with preview at books-dot-google and amazon-dot-com is:
"A Surgical Temptation: The Demonization of the Foreskin and the Rise of Circumcision in Britain" by Robert Darby (Aug 1, 2005)

Many dangers are listed on, and around, page 294 (books-google go search of "crying seqelae" when open).

By adapting accordingly to the nations they came to inhabit.

And practicing circumcision the whole time. Apparently circumcision is not all that fatal.

Meanwhile scores of other cultures survived millenia with their foreskins intact. Apparently circumcision isn't all that necessary.

Great logic. Because something survives by mere tradition, that somehow means it has withstood the test of reason. Tradition doesn't make more sense over time.

I never said that. I said the neonatal circumcision is not all that fatal. It has a very low morbidity rate.

Virtually every Jewish male in the last 3000 years has had the procedure and very few died because of it.
