Maybe,it's the Great Mystery.The Dalai Lama say that no one really knows what exists.He has a gathering of scientist once a year to study the mind and is totally open to the idea that we really don't know jack about the mind or origin of consciousness.He is totally open to
the idea that we may be finite beings with no rebirth,afterlife orHeaven,( whatever your belief is).There's no empirical evidence to support any religion ,maybe it's all blind faith or just a desperate hope that there must be something better.To me,there's no empirical proof that you even exist.
