I wonder what happens to kids who are born to one person who is white, while the other person lives on a reservation?

I am not sharing my house and the land that it is on with anyone.

What about family?
I have known from some tribes who have proven that their ancestors were willing to share their lands with the whites who took the country and forced them to live on reservations.

What year is the cutoff date for absolute original ownership of a piece of land? People have been conquering each other for all of recorded history. Discovering a new land does not grant perpetual rights to it for people that identify with your ethnicity. That's just now how it works, and trying to argue that it's 'yours' because 'they stole it' is just stupid. They won it, you lost it, and you're never getting it back unless you happen to conquer it back at some point in the future.

I grant that many historical scientists were Christians; however there have been and still are times when science and Christianity are at odds. Galileo for example and Copernicus and more recently Darwin. The established church (and Christians) had a real hard time accepting that the Earth wasn't at the centre of the universe and even today there are some Christians who don't acknowledge the fact of evolution or the age of the Earth.

I see no issue with Darwin. Animals and people do "evolve/change", it takes time!
so with that being written, do you think I believe in evolution? (Im a Christian)

I think what TallyMan was trying to show is that because people "believe" in Christianity and acknowledge evolution, they are cancelling out their beliefs.

That is not necessarily the case; Referring to the quote I used; "If we are to believe contrary to fact, we believe in vain and are fools"
That statement is referring to apologetics- the defense and reason to believing. I think Paul was trying to show if you "Believe" just to "believe" you are wasting your time.

Best Regards,

Jake

Just curious, how do you think the natives got to own that particular piece of land in the first place?

The Bible states that things, people and (I believe animals) change.(Feel free to look it up for yourself :) ) So I still am a Christian but I realize Evolution has its truths, that is supported by the Bible. I dont believe that "they are cancelling out their/my beliefs".
