A goober is usually just another term for a peanut.
Goober can also be used to refer to or address a goofy or generally stupid person.

The only thing I got out of Arkansas was sunburn, chigger bites, and poison ivy. :x

Really? There are plenty of whites who use the word cracker to describe ignorant, bigoted whites, so I hardly think of it as a racist word. But even if it is, I sincerely doubt anyone could make a case that it carries the same hurtful power of the N word.

Uh huh, like there aren't any blacks that continually call other blacks the "N" word. If it were as hurtful as you claim they'd rarely say it so casually.
You can never hope to achieve any feeling of racial equality when you continually stack the deck against one race based on the wrongs of some members of that race generations before. But hell, who are we kidding. The left's goal is not equality but actually perpetual strife.
