Look, all I'm saying is that you can dump infinite amounts of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere without any consequences.

Conservatives have no fewer temptations and misdeeds than the rest, you know.

even if some of these conservative live an unhealthy lifestyle,
the conservative idea of pro-family,pro lifetime partner,
anti-abortion,healthy lifestyle is a good way to live.
if people(straight,gay,bi)were loyal to their
partner,we would had less abortion, but liberals
hate Monogamy.

That's how it is with many things - the idea is good; its execution not so much. If everyone were conservative, we'd have a large part of the population living double lives, and that's nothing to be proud of.

Tell me - when someone who considers themselves (and is considered by others) a conservative cheats on their significant other, does that then make them a liberal?

As I see it, the 'conservative idea of pro family, pro lifetime partner' is at odds with the conservative idea of the free market for all and everything, and consumer* captialism and its (infantilising) emphasis on the atomised individual living the life best for them, that they come first, they will be measured by what they earn and own.

(*'conspicuous consumption' would once have meant something like coughing up blood in public)

Where the hell did you get the idea that liberals hate monogamy? I vote liberal, and support a liberal political and social agenda, and I am happily in a monogamous marriage. And in fact, I firmly believe monogamy is by far the best for a stable family life. How does your preconceived notions explain that?

So you aren't a conservative if you don't exercise regularly, ever treats his gf/wife with respect, never does any drugs (I'm assuming you include alcohol and tobacco), has never cheated, AND not an a$$hole. So there are what, like 2000-30000 conservatives in the world?

So a woman can't be conservative unless she cooks, cleans, has babies, is an expert at child rearing, AND dates/marries men (specifically only men who meet YOUR particular definition of good)?

1. Divorce rates are the same regardless of political affiliation. As are the infidelity numbers.

2. Healthy lifestyle is hardly a conservative mainstay. I have more liberals than conservatives fighting for improved nutrition and less harmful ingredients in food and advocating exercise for children.

3. Liberals do not hate monogamy.

4. There are plenty of pro-life liberals and pro-choice conservatives. They may not be a majority in their respective camps, but there are still quite a few. And what about those who would make exceptions for rape/incest?

5. I have yet to find a single liberal who is anti-family, but plenty of conservatives who complain about it.

I am not sure if you just assume that everything you believe is what makes up a conservative, or if someone is feeding you some horse sh*t with your Wheaties. Your attitude is just as annoying as the over-the-tops on the opposite end of the spectrum who assume that being nice to each other and helping each other out are somehow trademarked and copyrighted by the liberal elite.

Isn't the only reason you identify as conservative is because you're upset about feminism? And you're upset about feminism because it lets women decide that they don't want to be romantically involved with someone and have no obligation to make you happy. I'm sorry that you've been dealt a bad hand in life, but you're going about this the wrong way.

I get the feeling that in the US "family values" is a euphemism for bigotry against homosexuals, atheists, liberals, and other non-conservatives.

That is absolutely correct. The same people who use "family values" to beat up on gays, single mothers, liberals, etc. tend to include the same sort who say that to be anti-racist is anti-white.

Uh huh, and liberals label anything conservative that they don't like as "hate".

No, only where there is hate involved. Such as Rush Limbaugh's call for a color blind society, in which he doesn't actually mean that discrimination against non-whites should necessarily stop, but rather, that non-whites should stop complaining about unequal treatment.

Once again you're more of a fan of Limbaugh than I ever have been or ever will be. I don't have to listen to or read anything from him since you're a source of all of his highlights.

I take a look at the US news channels from time to time. I remember, sometime around Obama's first election, a remark from Bill O'Reilly, to the effect that 'do black people understand white people's anger at black people talking about racism?'.
