when he was alive, Elvis would never abide anybody referring to him as the king, he would point upwards to the heavens and say words to the effect, "HE is the real king." [meaning God, in his opinion]
What if pure unemotional logic is the better way? Should we not embrace ha better way?To condemn it before even knowing what it is seems counter productive.
IMHO, not if it ends up marginalizing humanity out of existence.
You make my case.
It would be illogical for a sentient computer to get rid of it's reason for being.

Elvis Presley, of course!
Can't believe anyone's even asking that question.
I was looking for a live king and not a dead one.

I think Elvis fans and Christians generally agree: The King lives! They just don't agree on who the King is.

Or where he lives. Not even an E mail.

That wealth is in a bank is it not and the bank is doing the recycling. Right?
Or do you think that some rich goof is sitting in his own vault with the green?

Not really since when money is being saved it's like a hoarding situation. It takes it out of circulation and money is created to fill in the gap which can cause inflation and create debt. Ideally it really is a cycle - where everyone gets money, spends money, gets money, spends money over and over continually, like spring, summer, winter, fall, on a regular and consistent basis. I am surprised no one notices this poetry because it screams to my eyes. It is very clear to me and seems like perfection.

How can money be anything less than just another earth cycle, of which there are many.

Nonsense.
In America today the problem is excessive debt, not excessive saving. All of us consumers carry balances on our credit cards. And on top of that the Feds, the states, the cities, and private corporations, are all in debt. Publicly, and privately, debt is the American thing.
Japanese are notorious savers. And during the Great Depression Americans were excessive savers. But that has nothing to do with how Americans act now.
Putting money in your mattress does not 'cause more money to be made to fill the gap which causes inflation'. The government doesnt respond to you stuffing cash in your mattress by minting the same amount of cash, and putting it in circulation.
If you put money in a mattress it would take that money out of circulation, and no money would replace it. That would contribute to reducing inflation -the good news. The bad news is that putting money in your mattress also reduces employment (by reducing demand for goods and services).
And even if you were right-that stuffing money in a mattress somehow caused more money to be made "to fill the gap" it would just cancel out. The money you hoarded would be balanced out by the new money replacing it. So you would have niether inflation, nor deflation. So its both factually wrong, and illogical.

The King? Not sure if the title is accurate but noticed during the last Obama inauguration amongst the ordinary crowd there were two people who chose to stand out by wearing the "Royal Purple" while everyone else wore ordinary clothing.
They were Bush The Senior and his Queen, oops I meant "wife.". If I remember correctly they were ensconced on matching thrones, oops I meant "chairs'" unlike any of the commoners, oops I meant "ordinary people."
I understand one of their younger "princes" may be due to take control of the Republican mob, oops I meant "party."
I guess this would be the U.S. equivalent of King.

Nonsense???? No no no! If you really think about it, you will see for yourself hoarding money creates a huge economic problem and could even cause an economic depression.
You will see that individuals hoarding money can cause others who are not to go into debt.
You will see it causes a huge economical imbalance.
Think critically about it and it will become glaringly apparent. What people need is activity and money to spend. Everyone needs to keep spending without any hoarding.

I am willing to bet that war between Iran and Israel will break out within 5 years.
That or the whole Middle East will go secular and oust their religious political leaders.
I say this because Egypt has rejected the Muslim/ISIS solution to peace in the region.
