I never understood why democrats in the US have a donkey for their symbol. The republicans have an elephant, which is a "cooler" animal, but from the way I've seen repubs act I don't like that, either.

politicians in europe were being lazy .. they failed to detect the psychological root say when özil was five or maya was eleven the apartment was filled with rats and ten relatives living in one bedroom etc.. then it all went to erdogan or corbyn or sth like that. Or maybe race differences is truly an irreconciliable force afterall. all that helprefugeesuk or bambi awards they mean little almost next to nothing. it truly start to look like silent hill where everyone around you looks like a menacing monster.

Proud for BREXIT to remain Brexit. Someone has got a job to do. To deliver on the votes of the British people. Will she get there? Don't know, but a majority should back her and back anything that is legal.

Do I want to back a bloody difficult woman like May? Yes I do, because I've followed her on media for two years and can say that no one else has tried to intervene. Time for the Mayrites of Britain to shine the Tory costs of leaving now has them blacklisted so they'd better stop squabbling and get a move on. No one else has my respect at the moment.

Both US Senators from my home state; Jeff Merkely and Ron Wyden.

Even though they both are Democrats, they both understand the needs of the people without
acting like d-bags about it. They both manage to work with GOP colleagues of Congress without getting into fights.

As for more historical figures (and even though he was not a politician), Edward R. Murrow knew that Senator Joe McCarthy's paranoia during the Red Scare made the American people distrustful of each other, so he led the fight to keep freedom of expression intact.

(If you have no idea what I'm talking about, watch the movie Good Night & Good Luck and you may gain an understanding of the damage McCarthyism did to the US.)

We all complain about politicians like they are a separate species from ourselves. They're not. They are come from the same town, cities, states, and culture that we all come from. We go to the polls and elect these a**holes, and we're a**holes for electing them.

We are every bit as guilty as the politicians for the f****d up world in which we reside.

It depends what you mean by ass.

Rand Paul at least stands for something other than his party. Republican senator who has voted with Trump the least and usually for ideological reasons.

Now do I think he is a great human being and all his ideas are great? No, but I wish we had more politicians that voted conscience instead of power.
