No charges will be brought against Hillary. The former Miss Rodham is Off The Hook.

This kind of s**t goes on all the time. The only reason she isn't being prosecuted is because they would have to prosecute many many more.

I wish she would have just been honest and said "yep, I'm guilty as charged." I would have more respect for her. I don't like the fact that she lied I don't really care that much that she sent some emails she shouldn't have sent. The American public is smarter than this which is why I don't have a whole lot of respect for Clinton.

She should have given up a presidential run? And that would make you feel better?

She should have been honest.

What you mean if she's found guilty she can't run? Well, typical political BS Everybody knows she's guilty whether's she's technically found guilty or not. I don't care about some stupid emails I care that she thinks she's above the law and that she thinks it is okay to lie.

And yes if it were me I would actually step down - rather than turn myself into a national laughingstock. It is beyond me how she has defeated Sanders. She knew she would get away with this. She really should have just stepped down though. It's just slimy. Nobody wants to be present that bad unless they want power. It makes no sense.

This situation, other than the indictment part, is getting to be just what I feared. I made a post back on February 1st about my concern regarding the Hillary emails situation, which led me to support Bernie:

Quote:
My fear is that Hillary will have that emails issue actually result in an indictment after she has wrapped up the nomination, leaving us with teh Donald by default.

She didn't get indicted, but she's come awfully close.

Lying isn't against the law. In fact the head of state has to be quite good at it. This whole episode actually proves she can be a good president! Not even the Republicans can derail her. And they are worse than our enemies in some ways.

Hillary actually improved in the polls over the week:

Here's another excerpt, from that article I posted earlier:

Republicans argued that Clinton knew she was skirting the rules, and late in the hearing, Chaffetz pointed to a 2011 email in which Clinton told an aide to turn a fax "into nonpaper w no identifying heading and send nonsecure."

They (the FBI) have PROOF that she, KNOWINGLY, was accepting secure documents over NON-secure channels----how is that okay?????????----AND, if nothing else, she LIED and said, MANY TIMES, that she did NOT, knowingly, send or receive any documents that were classified at the time they were sent or received!! Comey said he couldn't "defend" ( I don't think he used that word) anything she said, in PUBLIC----only what she said to the FBI!! WHAT!?!?!?

Quite simple, actually. As the FBI Director explained in his congressional testimony, Hillary Clinton may not have been sophisticated enough to understand how the classification system works.

She's not sophisticated enough to be president either.

Hillary most of all, altho I think she understands it fine as a lawyer but completely disregards it. Laws are for little people and those to stupid to cover their tracks. The Clinton's burn the tapes.

She is not qualified to be president

Jacoby,

First of all I thought you said polls didn't matter?

Second, clearly you don't understand the law because the FBI has cleared her of any charges and every credible law expert without an axe to grind predicted this outcome. But you don't let little things like the facts get in your way do you?

The FBI didn't recommend charges because they didn't think any 'reasonable prosecutor' would bring the case forward because of the likelihood of conviction. That does not mean she was 'cleared', she clearly broke the law and everybody with half a brain knows it. Hillary got away because she's Hillary and it would be a political firestorm to bring down this witch, I understand the law well enough to know if I did what Hillary did I'd be in prison and James Comey said as much. The internal memos from Whitewater pretty much sum up the thinking, they didn't indict because they put the odds at '2% dismissal, 18% acquittal, 70% hung jury, and 10% conviction' not because they didn't think she broke the law.

Hillary is going down in flames and when Trump becomes president hopefully he puts her in prison, reason enough to vote for him!

You're mischaracterizing what he said, but I think you know that already.

Comey said she straight up lied. She didn't turn over all her emails, she did have classified information on an unsecure server, that server was very likely compromised by multiple foreign intelligence agencies, she did not seek permission for this email set up, and she used many devices rather than just one as she claimed. Everything she has said about this has been a lie. Intent has nothing to do with it, any other person would be held legally accountable except Hillary isn't just anybody. That is the definition of PRIVILEGE!
