There is something most compelling about this video. Watching someone go from a comrade in arms to a hated enemy in the blink of an eye with the removal of a piece of material. A piece of material was all that defined his worth. It reminds me of ants identifying ally from enemy through pheremones and if you remove those pheremones from an ant, he is immediately turned on and torn apart by the other ants.

In related left-wing news, a protest mob (not black block) stormed into the office building of the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank in Washington.

These leftist disruptors are now moving from street riots to shutting down regular office buildings. They aren't going to like where this path ends.

I think its more of a matter of general public unrest rather than their political stance. I'd bet a good amount of money that if Hillary was elected we would see an equal amount of civil disobedience among the right, just in different places. When you have two vehemently hated candidates, bad s**ts gonna go down no matter who stands in the oval office.

I doubt it, Trump supporters never felt the need to "shut down" the other side or control speech.

You might see it differently if you were a liberal in a predominantly conservative area, your ideas and reasoning would be shut down just as quickly as if you were a conservative in a very liberal area (as might be the case for you? Not totally sure.). I think it in human nature to suppress ideals that go against the local social norms, sometimes even subconsciously, and this rings true for just about any situation regardless of political standing or social standing. Hence my previous statement that rightist violence would be quite similar to leftist violence today under Trump, as it would be if Hillary was elected, just in the opposite places and to the opposite groups of people.

Some of these demonstrators write unexpectedly-beautiful things, believe it or not. I see pictures of trees and acceptance. They say that Communism is a social experiment, which has never truly been enacted, before.

But, what has happened, repeatedly, is you get this demoralized, destabilized, unstructured mode of existence, followed by Stalinist militarism. Anarchism is typically a transitional stage, which occurs before Soviet military parades and work assignments. Vulgar militarists call the idealists useful idiots, for giving them an opening.

I don't believe that you have concentrated enough, on the issue of usurpation, which has always been the eventual result of your experimentation, the history which was damned to repeat itself.

Conservatives cannot explain the champagne-socialist, crony capitalists, bank-rolling the buses, print posters, banners, and labor magazines, or those infiltrators with matching combat boots.

I don't think that either side of the discussion is willing to see that 800lb gorilla in the room.

I would amend that by saying violence is almost always the first go to option for the ignorant, and trust me, there is a myriad of ignorant people on both sides of the equation. That's been my experience at least. The pen is mightier than the sword, and ideas have affected more people than brash action.

(P.S. sorry if any of this might be taken as offensive, I just thought I'd throw my word in here for diversity's sake since the thread seemed to be seriously resembling an echo-chamber.)

The trademark of an educated or intelligent individual lies in their ability to use creativity, analytics and logic to solve problems. Berkeley students exhibit none of these traits. Tyranny appears to be the only tool they are adept with. Making them liabilities to any industry with the exception of paid rabble-rousing for liberals.

Businesses would be well advised to hire veterans of the Armed Forces rather than these petulant brats. Surely their parents can find a cheaper form of daycare.

Anarchism honors people for their merits and special abilities, but it's just honorary.

If someone is useful and wise, there is no shame in learning from that person. He just doesn't get to enslave you.

Both people are paid to harm others, in the name of social justice.

Meanwhile, the leftist mayor of Berkeley plays the race card (cuz he's got nothing else):

From his fifth-floor suite of offices overlooking the park, Berkeley Mayor Jesse Arreguin had a first-hand view of the gathering of far right demonstrators.

He has struggled to come to terms with how to deal with the combatants who continue to use Berkeley as their stage.

"We're a surrogate for the resistance against the Trump administration certainly, and for progressive values," he said.

"It's not lost on me that I'm Berkeley's first Latino mayor. I have been outspoken against the Trump administration," he said. "I have to wonder if the mayor was white, would we see such hate."

That makes it worse than Detroit, and Chicago (murder capital).
