All this drama over a person posting obvious satire in response to Twitter trolls.
Umm... yeah. Thanks for bringing this important matter to my attention.
*yawn*
I don't know, I've heard trolling before but that's some very strong language.
I read the recent Vox article on her and although I like their content I'm not sure how partial they're being about an employee of their sister site.
https://www.vox.com/2018/8/3/17644704/s ... ash-racismAll the reasoning here's credible and the fact that the tweets come from one central time period(2014) supports their claim that it's just rehashed trolling but I'm not sure how anyone can innocently follow that type of humor. Not my place to play the humor police but there should be a line. Maybe Times got tired of everyone calling them out for playing both sides are the same rhetoric and enticed a bit of radicalism
Something that jumped out to me tho, unrelated, Guardians of the Galaxy's hit multi-
billion status- grief. I knew they were popular but man I've been naive to their influence.
Read one of Norton's articles as well, would anyone say that it's true that a part of whiteness is having racist friends? I've had racist family- Of which I have minimal contact with(Tbh I have minimal contact with much of my family) but I've always been selective with friends. Problem with this article to me is that coddling racists only furthers to meet a middle ground/compromise: somethings should not be the norm for a civilized society but jmo
