But I would say that "big picture" in the US has been particularly unfortunate lately and things are getting rather... ahem, complicated everywhere. The disastrous choice of Biden as a candidate doesn't help much either.

People who exercise their right to vote are not inherently stupid. Trump is not stupid either, but is a horrible person. Why would anyone vote for him, except that they feel and think like him.

5. You like your Trump tax cuts (Biden wants to repeal them).

6. Trump is a novice, non-polished (Biden is a career politician, and PC).

7. Trump says he cares for workers and actively supports select industries (Biden will likely support free trade deals, reverse industry tariffs)

8. Trump says he cares about coal miners (Biden will likely reverse Trump's emission reductions).

9. Trump speaks to the lower class (Democrats are accused of being too elite , too owned by business to care about them)

10. Trump gets a tan (Biden looks very old. Biden even gets confused when he speaks which compounds his grandpa Joe old man look).

Reasons to Vote For Anyone But Trump

1. What a woman chooses to do with her own body is her right; no man should ever dictate what a woman can and cannot do with her own body; women are not the property of men.

2. Given the choice between raising taxes and lowering the deficit, I choose to lower the deficit.

3. Amnesty only insofar as illegal aliens are given the choice between being processed for citizenship or going back home.

4. Government could run health care no worse than greedy corporate interests.

5. WHAT tax cuts? They were only for the wealthy.

6. Better a bumbling professional than a wilfully ignorant amateur.

7. Trump cares only for those who worship him, and only for as long as he needs them.

8. Close the coal mines.

9. Trump speaks to white males who are afraid to lose their traditional supremacy over women, immigrants, and minorities.

Why to vote Democratic:

Abortion on demand, unrestricted, without apology, and judges who won't overturn Roe v. Wade.

LGBT people can marry who they want, use the bathroom for the gender they identify with, and judges who won't overturn Obergefell v. Hodges or Lawrence v. Texas.

While no Democrat has suggested this, certain verses in the Bible and Quran (for example, Leviticus 18:22, the one that says homosexuality is an "abomination") being classified as hate speech.

Probably all liberals think Trump supporters are stupid.

I don't think stupidity is necessarily the same thing as unconstitutionality, but there happens to be a lot of overlap in that venn diagram.

It's pretty simple, if you don't know the legal basis of what you're talking about, it's uncouth to shove it down everyone's throats as if you do. Inquiring minds know the difference. We got along more or less OK for centuries without fascism, just because some people think fascism is not so dirty a word as socialism does not ground their trend-based thinking in reality.

Trump is going up against the internet; that's a lot like starting a land war in Siberia.

Maybe he imagines himself as Genghis Khan or one of the Stroganovs. It's not like conquering Siberia is impossible, otherwise Siberia would still be independent and not a part of Russia.
