The US has delegated it to the EU, they have been the ones that Iran has dealt with not the US we don't even have formal relations with Iran.

That's because you guys cant really do diplomacy, so Iran wouldnt speak to you and without the EU, war would probably have broken out already between the US and most of the rest of the world.

LOL. The worrying thing is you are probably serious. I have family in the US and could probably stay there if i wanted to but i can assure you i have no plans to stay in that carnival of craziness you call a country.

Don't know if anyone thinks this adds to the debate, but if America doesn't start taking science seriously again, China will be next.

Probably wont happen (though im not sure about it being too late?), but remember that one time we where all living in caves mocking anyone who said we'd all live in houses one day. The fact is that most right-wingers belong in caves anyway. Back my socialist revolution and i will make it happen.

Your government would probably have you assassinated too, or at least allow it to happen.

We have this thing called free speech here in the UK, Sean, which your capitalist USA seems to lack.

No we don't, RobertN. What we say is governed by a whole raft of legislation. How can it be free, when saying the wrong thing can get you arrested, and when the current government only seeks to restrict further what's deemed acceptable?

No you don't. You need to ratify a constitution that guarantees free speech to have the right to free speech. Until then, your free speech is a priviledge given to you by your government.

Sean, aren't you similarly restricted by legislation? Laws in respect of libel, and all that PC garbage? Doesn't that Patriot Act restrict what you can say, too?

My socialist revolution is different from yours. Yours sounds too communist for me, it will never work. //me cries and runs off to tell my mummy on you//

So you think we should scrap all the anti-terror legislation then, Ascan?
