Jeez, I can't wait for Bible 2.0 to come out. It'll be a Bill Gates updated edition proclaiming the original was full of drivel and that he himself is God. Ragtime will no-doubtedly get his copy and quote chapter and verse and hence proclaim the Lord Gatess as all seeing and all knowing. Afterall, Gates did invent Microsoft.......

QFT, Kilroy. Well said.

Respect is a two-way street. If pagans want acceptance and respect, they can't continue to be so hateful and disrespecting of other groups. If nothing else, Jesus gave us the Golden Rule. Try to respect others instead of just flaming and cussing them out. This goes for everybody. Make no honest effort at reciprocation and you'll never get the respect you want.

If you truly want universal harmony, act it out. Make it your modus operandi.

It ain't so much Christianity per se that we 'hate', what annoys us is the endles proselytizing and tub-thumping that certain people (such as Ragtime and that w*ker that's behind McCain) are going on with. We DO want Universal harmony, but it seems a lot of the fundamentalists Xians have no concept of it; all they want to do is fight and stir up trouble, then blame the other guy. They pick on the Muslims and say that the Koran is evil and it says infidels must die, but the Bible, especially Revelation is packed with doom and damnation. So when you get overloaded with all this crap from a so called tolerant religion, doesn't it make you wonder why we are critical of the people trying to push it?

Yeah, it does. A victim-mentality will not win you hearts and minds.

BTW it's "Christ-ians," not "Xians." For future reference.

See you deliberately annoy people when you do that, and being a Victim of Horrible Terrible Things does not make it okay. Your sense of entitlement is false. Show me some respect, and I'll do likewise. F**k the past. F**k histrionics and old wounds.

Let's do this today with a tabula rasa.

OK, f**k the claim for the holy land, f**k the injustices the Jews had to go through with Hitler's atrocities, f**k Katrina, f**k the Chinese who died in the quake. Fine. Means nothing. BS, it means a lot to the people of the time and the descendants. And I will still refer to them as Xian as it is good shorthand. Bush was the one backed by fundamentalist twats that started this current crusade, and before him it was any other president you care to name from Truman up until Clinton. Didn't they realise when the state of Israel was set up in the middle of Arab territory is was going to be no end of trouble? Didn't they realise that aiding Saddam against the Iranians (and technically Bin Laden) was going to come back and bite them on the bum? Name one pagan period where that would have happened, and I'll freely accept it. But when people such as Ragtime continue to spout 'God is Love and all who believe will be saved' with one hand, and then say Muslim terror must be wiped out with the other, that doesn't seem too much of a tolerant and respectful attitude to me.

"Xian" maybe convenient shorthand, but its' nonetheless wrong. And I think it's the name of somewhere in China. The world insists on proper spelling of that word for obvious reasons. If "Wccnz" want universal harmony, let's bury the hatchet and reconcile. I'm ready. I'm gonna show you that all Christians aren't the same.

Not surprising. It's a most excellent rule for everyone to follow. Let's try it, you and I.

Ahhh! Thanks for explaining that, I thought it was referring to another Eastern religion, as it looks like a Chinese word... woops.
