Notice I made an exception when militantly religious types try to use their religious to legislate, for example, sexual behavior or as a rationale for bad policy. Of course, you are still free to try to convince a religionist that their faith is wrong, but they probably won't change their mind, and you probably won't change yours either. Hearing the same arguments passed back and forth gets old and is entirely unproductive.
