I voted no because I think that religion is a force for compassion and tolerance. It's just that people are too hopeless to grasp that, but at least the prophets (Jesus, Mohammed etc, assuming they're not the same guy) gave it a crack. Better than me at any rate.

I think it is mostly. I know I am a lot better when I attend church, something to do with part of the service where we are to consider if we have hurt anyone and then be sorry about it. It really works for me.

He's not even displaying bias, there's nothing wrong with being gay. Can you give me a logical reason to have a problem with homosexuality? When it comes down to it the only reason to hate gays is pure bigotry. And before you accuse me of having bias, I myself am not gay but I see no reason to have an issue with homosexuality.

it's called a sense of right and wrong combined with the ability to view others without prejudiced and bigoted eyes like yourself. i'm comfortably heterosexual and when i used the phrase "brainwashed by religion to hate fags" earlier, i'm using the term fag to illustrate the ugliness of the intolerance and hate, not that i think it's an acceptable term to use on all occasions. especially not by a bigot like yourself who sees homosexuality as a problem.

Um... I was saying hating or disliking gays is pure bigotry because there's no logical reason for it. You don't have to be a homosexual therefore you don't have to worry about any of that, but if people want to do that I don't see why that gives someone a reason to hate that person.
