The Associated Press/NORC Center poll, conducted in February, asked a series of questions on racial issues and surveyed a larger proportion of black adults than most polls do. The poll found, unsurprisingly, that 92 percent of blacks disapprove of President Trump, compared with 7 percent who approve of him. A whopping 84 percent of blacks think Trump is a racist, compared with 10 percent who do not.
I find it hard to believe that any black person, Hispanic, or woman actually supports Trump but I guess they do exist huh?
Must be as rare as finding bigfoot or a unicorn.

They’re the vast minority and minorities can be bigoted too. For example fellow queers can loathe immigrants, Muslims, and trans people. One thing I’ve found as a constant in the very few “Gays for Trump” there are - they usually show a hatred toward those groups.
When campaigning for gay marriage rights while canvassing the most homophobic (to a terrifying degree) was actually a black preacher.

I am very aware of all that. I know a feminist who hates black people and black people who hate homosexuals and gay men who hate women and all that stuff. But it still seems very strange to me for any person to support a politician who is clearly out to get people exactly like themselves. That's like a Jewish person supporting the Nazis or a black person siding with the KKK. It's mind baffling.
And no not ever minority has to side with Democrats. I realized a long time ago that Republicans are not all as bad as I used to think they were. Sometimes being a little more conservative can be a good thing. Liberals/Conservatives and Democrats/Republicans are really just two sides of the same coin.
And I don't understand where you got the idea that I was talking about killing you and your family.
jk = just kidding
sarcasm = you know what that is
Maybe I just didn't find it funny.

Hypocrisy is the greatest luxury. Raise the double standard

I agree with what Spooky Mulder says, but I would also go a step further and say that Trump appeals to many minorities precisely because of his bigotry.
I believe it is a huge mistake to think that just because someone is from a minority community or maybe a second-generation immigrant family, that themselves would disagree with Trump's proposed deportations. The 2016 election showed this very well. Trump increased the GOP's share of the Latino vote by 10% and brought himself to victory on the most diverse coalition his party has ever assembled. This is despite Trump exclaiming that Mexican illegal immigrants are rapists.
Immigration in general always creates fear, racism, and tension in society. It doesn't matter which community you are from. Research has actually shown that minority communities like White communities are more inclined to be Conservative when told about the amount of immigration into their society. Like anyone else, they may hold racist values, and face fears about the job prospects and loss of status that immigration can sometimes entail.
I myself have no doubt that in 30 years when the second wave of refugees from the Third World starts coming into Europe, you might see the children of integrated Syrian refugees yell that those dirty brown people ought to be sent home.

Marvelous! Now let's please get back to discussing everyone's favorite reality TV star turned U.S. president.
You can’t honestly believe anyone who disagrees with you is racist cause if you do you need help
I never said I believe that half the nation is fascist. That in mind, I do believe that race baiting is a very effective tool to win CERTAIN minority communities.
You can’t honestly believe anyone who disagrees with you is racist cause if you do you need help
I don't think that and I don't hate all white people but it seems like you think that any fellow white person who disagrees with Trump is an evil hippie liberal trying to destroy the country and take away your rights.

As a hispanic/immigrant/bisexual do I find it a stretch to believe that almost but not half the country are bigoted against a minority group? Not at all. It’s about the same amount I’ve seen it from throughout my life.
Notice how I didn’t say just white.
Many whites are allies and many minorities can be bigoted toward other minority groups. You learn that very quickly when you’re a minority in more than one way. All I gotta say - thank God I have money, helps to balance the other things out but not make not noticing their views completely disappear.

Minorities get treated like crap anywhere you go in the world. But I think that the hatred towards white people comes from the fact that they really do control most of the power in world. Most developed countries are dominantly Caucasian countries and the undeveloped countries are being exploited by countries like ours for their natural resources. Like Guatemala for example big corporations like Chiquita Brands International control most of the fertile lands to grow bananas to sell back to nations like the U.S. and Europe and the native people there are living in extreme poverty and starving to death.
The thing is I can understand exactly why some people hate white people but I don't agree with it because I know for a fact that not all white people are racist and evil. Most of my family is white.
And being racist doesn't necessarily make a person evil. It's the byproduct of ignorance and a lack of understanding.
Same here. Adoptee. Same with Obama actually. The term “white devil” is disturbing to me since it makes me think those who use it will come after my family just because they are white.
Not to mention just saying white is overly simplistic - Jews are white, gays are white, trans are white - all are minorities.
That’s not to say non-minority whites are evil just an observation that it’s a very weird over simplification.

I'm mixed and I was raised by my Mom's family who are white. My Dad was Polynesian and he left shortly after I was born so I never had anything to do with him or his family.
And I hate the term "white devil" too. White people are not all evil just like minorities are not all innocent.
And I identify people in terms of white and black because I don't believe in using complex politically correct terms.
Like the term "African American" for example. I am bothered by that term because not everyone with African heritage lives in America. You also have people of African heritage living in Europe, Australia, and the Caribbean Islands. There are also ones living in Latin American countries like Panama.
And like my Mom's college professor explained to her (who is a black woman) she does not like being called an "African" anything because she has traveled to Africa many times and seen how the women live there. She explained that the culture is completely different compared to how black people in the U.S. live and she doesn't believe that she has earned the right to be called an "African" even though she is very proud to have African heritage.
And I completely understand that. Like just because I have Hawaiian heritage I don't deserve the right to be called Hawaiian because I have never even lived in those islands or traveled there.
