This is a good example of why you need better news sources.

none of the mainstream media is 'news' as in some unbiased source of new information, it's all propaganda outlets. You're better off getting your information from online from multiple sources and places like twitter.

I find it interesting how the Left says that Fox and any other Right stations are not news sources. What makes you think that your news sources are the ones to be watching? PMSNBC has the lowest rating known to mankind. I also watch CNN, but that is as far Left as I will go.

Maybe you guys need to watch some of the other stations like Fox to keep yourself up on what the Right is being told. It is always wise to understand what the other side is being told.

Quote:
Retired Gen. Michael Flynn is being vetted as a potential running mate for presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump, two senior level sources with direct knowledge tell ABC News.

Flynn, 56, is a registered Democrat in North Carolina and served under the Obama administration for a time, but the tenure wasn't without controversy. He clashed with Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, and the Washington Post reported in 2014 that he was leaving his post a year earlier than originally intended.

Flynn, who is now chairman and CEO of Flynn Intel group in Alexandria, Virginia, has advised Republican candidates for president this cycle, and has previously said that presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton drop out of the race because of the email controversy.

When he was asked by the New York Post last week about potentially being vetted, indicated that he would consider it.

"All I would say is that I have been honored to serve my country for the past three decades and look forward to serving in other ways now that I am retired from the U.S. Army," Flynn said. "I've been a soldier too long to refuse to entertain any request from a potential commander in chief."

It might be Cotton that gets the VP slot.Just think Jacoby,if Trump gets elected and something happens to him, then we have President Cotton. Now that's a scary thought.

I haven't heard Cotton in awhile, I can't say I am particularly enthused about the names being floated out there for VP. Newt is pretty gross, Christie is worse. I'd probably choose Jeff Sessions of the names being talked about now.

This General Flynn is probably the most intriguing name, he had some really interesting thoughts in that interview I posted. He's also a lifelong Democrat however... :P My favorite name that has been talked about this entire time as a remote possibility was Jim Webb, also a Democrat. I just think Trump needs another outsider or else I'd be afraid they'd just kill him.

I don't think Trump is going to unveil his choice until the convention for maximum drama

Hi Angela,

You said: "Maybe you guys need to watch some of the other stations like Fox to keep yourself up on what the Right is being told. It is always wise to understand what the other side is being told."

This is so so true. I try to watch both sides about the same amount. It's interesting to watch how each side puts a different spin on the same story. One of their favorite tactics is, of course, to strategically leave out important parts of the narrative. Sometimes it's the Dems that are most egregious and sometimes it's the 'Pubs, in about equal numbers I find.

The fact is, whether Red or Blue, they're both lying to you and trying to manipulate each incident to their advantage.

The good thing is, when comparing the two "boat-loads-of-lies", and deciding who is closest to the truth, you can sometimes come up with the truth on your own.

Hillary Clinton weighs in on Pokemon Go:

"Just like many everyday Americans, I am also very interested in Pokemans Go.

"Since the Pokemans Go game came out on the phones, I can’t stop playing with the Pokemans, either. As the slogan goes, 'Got to catch the mall!' and I completely understand what that means, because even though I am running for president, I am a regular, Pokemans-playing person just like you.

"My fellow Americans, we now live in a country where both men and women alike can play Pokemans Go. It’s not just a boys’ club anymore. Now, I’d like to think that I had something to do with that, but in any case, the most important thing is that we fight to ensure that the world stays that way. And that’s why you need to vote for me."
