The Wall to cost $22 billion. That's a steal compared to Obama and the Democrat's spending in the trillions.

Exclusive - Trump border 'wall' to cost $21.6 billion, take 3.5 years to build: internal report. http://tiny.iavian.net/f72i

Gorsuch wouldn't have been hired on without Trump. That's along the same lines as an employer. I can't help if you can't see it. It's in poor taste to talk negatively about the President that just nominated you.

Don't call me stupid.

I am not calling you stupid Angela. I just don't think the boss/employee comparison is an apt one for this situation.

Bulls!t. Naive = stupid or dumb where I come from. So knock off the crap passive-aggressive remarks. If you don't have anything productive to say then don't say it. Simple as that.

Where I come from naive means naive. I am saying that I think applying the boss/employee analogy does not work in this instance because of the separation of the judiciary and the executive. Trump can nominate, but that's the end of it.

I think the "boss" thinking of which Trump is surely guilty will prove to be his undoing. A democracy cannot withstand a dictator. It's too early to know which will win, but my money's on democracy. I think it's stronger than the cult of Trump.

Warren lied about her Native American ancestry? She was only repeating what she had been told by her family. Personally, I have no doubt that she has some sort of Native American background, as so many Americans do, even if it isn't exactly where on her family tree she had thought it was.

She claimed she was Native American to benefit from affirmative action programs, this blonde haired blue eyed white woman has no verifiable Native ancestry but does have ancestor that we know was part of the Tennessee Militia who participated in the Trail of Tears. She was making this claim of minority status based on the just the belief that she has 1/32nd ancestry, she has no shame and this will not be forgotten. Terrible, terrible candidate!

I don't think she ever received any benefits. You can have blue eyes and blonde hair and still have Native descent,a friend has a tribal card from the Choctaw nation.

She identified as Native American in professional directories which are used to attract offers from top schools and was touted as evidence of Harvard's minority hiring, I would say it is fair to make the assumption that she benefited. 1/32 anything you shouldn't be identifying as it, I'm probably 1/32 a lot of things if you include speculative unverified 'family lore.' Warren is not an enrolled member with any tribe and she has no known Native lineage.

It seems like most white Americans think they're 1/32 Cherokee. It's always Cherokee. Never heard of a whitie trying to capitalize on it like that though. I think she should have had to have gotten conformation from whatever nation she's claiming to belong to, before getting any benefits.

Edit: I looked it up, she's claiming Cherokee LOL!! ! Cherokee men must have impregnated at least 7 out of 10 white pioneer women haha. Unbelievable.

I'm surprised that people out west claim that, maybe some do.The Cherokee had a large eastern territory and did intermarry with whites quite often. They sent their children to Eastern universities to be educated and dressed white.Where I live is was once Cherokee nation in the early 1800's,people that got out before the Trail of Tears.Trail of Tears also goes in this area. Many here have native blood and look it.Most hid it becuse of fear in the 1800's,you changed your name to a white name and dropped your culture. You can't get official recognition from the Nation in Tallequah unless your relations are on the Dawes roll and made it to OK.No blood quantum is required but I think with Eastern Cherokee it is.
I did my research becuse I didn't want to be Tribe Wannabe and found my ancestors,my fourth great grandparents were Cherokee, maybe mixed with white.Wolf and Paint clan.
It wouldn't be odd that Warren was related to the militia that moved the natives, many of the first white settlers married into tribes for the benefits, especially traders and trappers.

I just hope that President Trump won't decide to take away SSI benefits, since I'm receiving them now, too. Why he would, I don't know, but that's what I heard. However, I shouldn't believe everything I hear.

Yes there are.

I'm embarrassed to say Warren is my senator. Her phony history, which she cooked up to get preferential treatment for high-paying jobs (like the fake Indian Ward Churchill), were exposed extensively when she was running for senate in Massachusetts. Some Chreokee genealogists, in particular, have been harshly critical of her for falsely claiming Cherokee heritage.

Not benefits pe se, but benefited from the claim in scoring a job as a teacher at Harvard. Or so I've read.

But I think if you poll most white people from Midwest and Western United States, they will claim to be part Native American. And they usually cite having high cheek bones as evidence. My dad has a friend who is pure Native American and has been in charge of tribal craft fairs for a long time, and one thing they always hear is their white customers telling them how they're part Indian. And usually they say part Cherokee.

I would never just go by high cheekbones, people of Slavic descent can have those. No idea why everyone wants to claim to be Cherokee. That is a mystery to me,seems like they'd claim heritage from the tribes in that area.I wanted to verify my heritage so I took the time to do genealogical research and finally found it.I didn't want to claim something that was a lie,I'd feel like a hypocrite. With all the records and free research tools on line it's not difficult,it just takes some patience and digging.I certainly look more Native than Elizabeth.lol
Some of my relations,Attakullakulla,John Duwa'li Bowles,Nunna hi Dihia Pathkiller and Stand Waite.Geneology is a special interest and I could bore you to death with it.I think everyone should do it,it can be shocking and amazing to find out who you are related to.I use Geni,it's free.
And Darmok,I found a link to one of the Reptillian bloodlines.LOL!!
