Allegedly she's also been fired. Let this serve as a reminder about how cooperating with ghouls never works out in one's favour. Class solidarity is worth a lot more than a reward that won't ever actually be paid out. They'll use you and spit you out, but one thing they'll never do is actually reward you or protect you for loyalty.

You know they won't offer a reward when she ends up dead because she's just a regular pleb. They won't put 1% of the effort into solving her murder that they put into solving the oligarch's.
