Couldn't have said it better myself. All memes like that further show is how disconnected from reality the right are. They shout "Trump and we aren't bigots" while attacking every minority under the sun and vast majority of minorities saying that they are. Then, they try to turn the tables. Luckily all of our allies are capable of easily seeing through their charades.

I don't think that's entirely true. I most certainly have seen many left-wing, liberal people including myself fail to see through Trump's blatant dog whistles. And despite being anti-Trump insist that this person isn't racist. I remember very clearly what I would do last year whilst talking about Trump's insults that surrounded Mexicans being rapists. I would say Trump wasn't being racist as he also acknowledged some are good people. All the whilst completely ignoring the disturbing and disgusting generalizations this president made.

I don't think this way now. And I sure as a hell hope I never go back. But many liberals do, and it is sometimes hard I think for white people to see the extent to which Trump's rhetoric is horrific and damaging. We just simply haven't been in the position of disenfranchisement that many others have been in.

Liberals are also in some cases very easily persuaded and misinformed by conservatives on particular policies. Take for instance the issue of Obamacare back in 2010. Due to a massive smear campaign launched by the Republicans against Obama's bill a whopping 21% of Democrats came to believe that Obamacare would create death panels. And yes I said Democrats, not Republicans!

So the truth is that people are often more gullible than you think, and Democrats like Republicans can be so easily taken in by even the most outrageous most horrific lies. We aren't always great critical thinkers and we don't know what to believe.

These examples repeat themselves until this day. Rossane Barr I would like to remind you voted for Obama in 2012 over the centrist, Mitt Romney. Yet just four years later she was suckered into the notion of the Clintons running a child sex trafficking ring and decided to vote for Trump. The sad simple truth is that politicians who are respectable, treat the public as intelligent and are honorable enough not to lie are often shoved down into the dirt by supreme bullshiters.

To conclude my statements and my ramble, maybe Mitt Romney should have called Obama a Marxist who wants to burn down churches, he might have gotten more Democrats to vote for him that way.

Very true! And maybe the real problem is that the majority of Americans are misinformed about politics and these politicians take full advantage of that?

You talk about "not seeing through the charades", however, isn't the biggest charade that Clinton and Obama are actually conservatives?

Here's Obama admitting he's a "moderate Republican".

I already knew that Obama was a conservative Democrat, and frankly Trump doesn't seem that "conservative" to me for a Republican. Most conservatives are not openly rude and vulgar the way he is. He is just a self-serving megalomaniac who thinks he can manipulate the system because he has money and fans.

No the court needs to remain balanced. Would you want a all liberal democrat court?
Neither party should have total control

If you eliminated the fake protesters and the fake news reports about them, the Left wouldn't have much left.

I think Darmok's image link broke because it was probably demeaning & thus ban hammered.

There's social conservatives and economic conservatives. SOCIAL Conservatives are the kinds of people who attack guys like you and me for liking other dudes. That's social conservativism and why many right-wingers label themselves as socially liberal.

It's hilarious that these troglodytes still have no idea how a boycott works.

Nike still has their money. :D

Their "trigger the libs" campaigns are always hilarious - Young Republicans humiliating themselves by wearing diapers to campus, Trump supporters breaking their own coffee machines, now they're even setting their feet on fire.
