Indeed u mistaken (as usual) because unlike the US-Iraq situations Israel doesn't have troops stationed in Gaza nor administrator or advisors or 'i don't know what' any other of the american-British business there
Israel have 0 presence in Gaza,a fact that most reporters and opinion makers tend to forget

U don't have to declare war on a country in order to bomb it
if it shoot at u (which the Gazan do) u shoot back and is allowed to blockade it and search ships destined there at international water for weapons
Strangely enough most diplomats,news commentators and posters in the world aren't aware of this simple fact

That's very true but somehow Israel managed to stay more democratic than most countries in the world
There are many countries in the world which never wared and doesn't face any existence threat yet are much more closer to fascism than Israel

U might want to try and address facts instead of assuming other ppl mentalities

Unfortunately, given where the fence is, that seems to translate to "now that we've taken the best land for ourselves, the remaining palestinians can go hang".

Arens' suggestion is far more humane.

I laugh because it's sad and true that people tend to back up their government and assume the best of them in such times. It was done here, too. I have no problem calling out my government and its problems and I vote against the bastards every time and I tell people what's going on every time. The media has more control over them than common sense and reliable unbiased news sources. I would assume it's pretty similar over there since us humans aren't all that different other than the level of state wealth and the semantics of culture.

Israel's actions are always questionable and are criticized from within like there's no tomorrow
Most Israelis are quite active in criticizing and even acting against the government and it policies are constantly reviewed by just about everyone and everywhere
