Why just single out Christiantiy their are other religions in the world Islam Judaism Hinduism Shinto ect. But to answer your questioin I don't care that people view my faith as crazy. When atheists criticize my faith it brings me great joy I will follow it even harder because I am very zealous when it comes to my faith.

It's the largest one in the world, and by a larger margin the biggest one in the English-speaking world. Also, since it's in the spotlight often (professor fired after criticizing cross here, Atheists complain about nativity scene there) it's often seen as a fair target.

It is the most influential religion here in the USA and in most of the countries of those who post here on WP. For the record, I don't believe any religion that I have encountered. Buddhism makes a lot of sense to me, but I don't believe anything supernatural (like reincarnation) so I am not a Buddhist.

How can a religion that worships a God on a Stick be sensible?

I am Quaker, a friend of Jesus Christ, and I just don't feel attacked. Maybe something like a tiny bug bite.

Oh, we do. Except "attack" is a silly term for it, invented by the religious and used to the point of cliche by the media. The bits of Christianity that atheism *really* attacks are the ones that, actually, most Christians also dislike - the fundamentalist garbage, like evolution being wrong or God hating homosexuality (despite clearly inventing it). Most atheism is not trying to attack but to enlighten.

Christianity is the most obvious target for three reasons:
(1) Most western culture has grown up with it, and the strongest secular movements are all within western culture.
(2) The most powerful religious nation on the planet is Christian, and has far more effect on the global community than all the other religions combined.
(3) Some of the other religious nations are rather more... fervent than Christianity. They aren't interested in theological debate, and those within such nations will either kill you for your blasphemy or fear being killed for listening to it. Which, ironically, is about as far from love and peace as you can get. Honestly, God could only ever be an atheist. He'd want nothing to do with these violent organisations that claim to represent him.
