I always find it so very funny how racists (who to 98% often are white males) see it as "repression" that historically oppressed minorities are given equal rights and opportunities. Nothing is provoking such individuals as much as visible monuments to gay pride, black pride or female liberationism.

Am I wrong in assuming that the numbers supporting that figure are going to figure prominently in your next post? Or was that just unsupported hyperbole?

I did try to find the numbers, but I did find a regerence to a book entitled Racist America written by a Joe Feagin. I will read it when available (I just ordered it from my library) and maybe there will be some survey evidence that corroborates that a sizable percentage of white males (or any whites) are racist. Until then, until there is evidence, Dox's rebuttal is valid.

But I do see Dr Horroble's point.

What other kind of segregationist "solution" is there that won't lead to this situation? The only "solution" I can see is the two groups living in completely different societies where they don't have to associate with "the other" at all.

I see where I went wrong. This rarely happens, but when it does, it is awkward.

I am glad that there may not be 98% of White males that are racists. Thankful I am.

But if 98% of racists are white males this does not leave much left for the rest of the world. Quite remarkable, if the evidence is there. I will still read Feagin's book to discover if this is the case.

I don't believe it. There's plenty racists in Asia alone rather less the rest of the world. Maybe the racists here within the US or North America but that's certainly not a global stat.

Japan is probably the most racist nation in the world. At this very time, persons with Korean ancestry but born in Japan are treated like sh*t. There is also a class of "untouchables", the bonrun or eta.
