if i had more and better synapses i'd be what you say.
Or you could make yourself smarter by synaptic growth thanks to neuroplasticity...

As for predictions, North Korea will attack South Korea again and Korean War II will occur.

i lost so many synapses/neurons due to unrelenting stress in my working years, that i'll never get them all back, or even a major amount. the harder i try to exercise my brain, the more it resists my physical exertions. willpower works only when the brain wants it to work. my brain must like being flabby. every time i try to read something substantial, such as the bible or bhagavad gita or a textbook on symbolic logic, i never can get past the first few paragraphs before i nod off. any attempts at bettering my brain ends up being a soporific, and i wake up several hours later, no wiser.

Has anyone ever, for a laugh, checked LAST year's National Enquirer or other "psychic" predicvtions?

I have to confess that in the period when through no fault of my own [that is arguable, but I was certainly not the proximal cause] I was regularly exposed to the rag not even the spirit of scientific enquiry got me to open it that far.

I just goggled enquirer predictions.
I found a page of enquirer predictions for 2009.

Very celebrity oriented.

They predicted that Hillary and Obama would have a falling out and that she would step down from her post.

They predicted that Milley Cyrus would have a sex tape scandal.

And some boring stuff like Justin Timberlake would get married and that will smith and his wife would break up.

Any of the above might still come true, but none of the above actually came true in 2009.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

My prediction: Obama gives the Iranian head of state a choice: Either redo your recent national election with UN supervision to make sure its honest, or have the UN monitor your nuclear program- one or the other.

If you have a certifiably free election then you can build all of the nukes you want.

Or we will all just forget about how you stole the last election-but then -you cant have any nukes.

Since the Iranian head of state doesnt want to lose his power and he knows his people are eager to give him the boot he will balk at monitored honest elections and relectantly give up his nuclear program. And the Iranian nuclear problem will be solved.

Thus far it seems I am the only one with empirically proven psychic powers. You may all ask me what fortunes or misfortunes lie in your path, but be warned, you probably won't like what I tell you

naturalplastic -

thank you for doing that. While of course not absolutely conclusive, your findings certainly are consistent with my long held and frequently muttered hypothesis.

vigilans -

you are a passing fancy in the MIND that is dreaming Aunt Blabby, and your predictions are as a bubble on the wind that bursts and showers the cover with random spottings of soapy water.

But then, I am an illusion brought on by what you believe you ate yesterday, so what would I know?

Race memory?

You are flashing back to when your ancestor lost ten quid to my ancestor the booky at the Derby.

If I may, I would like to post some predictions for the next portion of 2011.

-- I feel the strong possibility of an earthquake around Anchorage, Alaska in the next several days, centering on April 28.
-- Iran will have an earthquake by the end of April, 2011.
-- I have a premonition of an airliner crash in India on or around May 4, 2011.
-- I have a strong sense of a massive solar flare (CME) affecting Earth in the middle of June, 2011.

Thank you for the venue.

Michael B.

There will be an major aviation incident in December, with the airline having the colour red somewhere in its logo.
Stephen Harper will once again form government in Canada, with the NDP becoming the official opposition.
There will be more studies showing ESP to be worthless.
Something really depressing will happen.

Check your history. The first Korean War is ongoing. We only signed a cease-fire.

Somebody, somewhere, will take a dump
The month of May will begin after April
Stuff will happen, at some point, everywhere!
