The question specifically states the origins of life and the universe, not the origin of species.

The question could indubitably be better worded. But the average reader will assume we are talking not about the first life, but the array of species we see. And if we do not cut the quiz some slack, pretty near every question will have to be rejected.

I cannot make out if the compilers have a particular religious slant or ignorance of real religious issues.

Belief not warranted topic

Home > Entertainment > Quizzes > Belief-O-Matic
Your Top 3 Faith Match Profiles Are:
1. Secular Humanism (100%)
2. Unitarian Universalism (92%)
3. Nontheist (85%)

You gotta be careful with this quiz. They expect you to uncheck in some of the sections, that is the burden is on you to disavow religion. I think they want converts. But I was not taken in.

Checkmate!!

It says:

Quote:
Your beliefs match closest with Liberal Quakerism!
And then it says:
Quote:
Unitarian Universalism 100%
Reformed Judaism 96%
Liberal Christian Protestantism 82%
Sikhism 71%
Secular Humanism 70%
New Thought 62%
Taoism 61%
Theravada Buddhism 61%
Church of Christ, Scientist 57%
Mahayana Buddhism 57%
Bahá'í Faith 55%
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 55%
Neo-Paganism 54%
Scientology 51%
Atheism 48%
Jainism 47%
New Age 46%
Orthodox Judaism 45%
Orthodox Quakerism 40%
Islam 39%
Conservative Christian Protestant 35%
Roman Catholicism 29%
Eastern Orthodox Christianity 29%
Jehovah's Witnesses 23%
Hinduism 21%
Seventh-day Adventists 19%

From my (brief) Googling, Liberal Quakerism and Unitarian Universalism seem to be the same thing, and neither strikes me as being religious. They seem to be just people who want to be ethical, nice people. It said you could be any faith (or no faith) and be a member. I suppose if you consider ethics and religion to be synonyms, that makes sense.

I just consider myself Agnostic. Seems most logical to me. I don't know what I don't know.

Secular humanist. (almost. Epicurean, I'd say)

Unitarian Universalism 86% (really? I'm not liberal towards other religions at all!)
Atheism 79% (and aggressively so!)
