So far, no-one has proffered any legal arguments that the Supreme Court's decision is wrong.

So far, it is just: WAAAAHHHH!! !! !    The Supreme Court is So UNFAIR!! !! !

Well, I've got news for you. Life isn't fair. Get over it.

Yep, that sure is one bigger of the reasons.

:D This is a rant. There are many like it but this one is mine :D

I have an idea!
Next time one of the auto industry big 3 is suffering from low sales we'll just have a lottery where everyone is involuntarily included. Your ticked number will be your SSN.
A to-be-determined amount of numbers will be drawn and the lucky winners will be forced to buy a new car from whichever auto company is in trouble.

Government Bureaucrat: "Congratulations, granny. You have 30 days to appear at Acme Ford on 8th street to purchase a new Mustang".
Granny: "But I'm on a fixed income and don't have enough for a new car. Besides, I don't drive any more".
Government Bureaucrat: "Doesn't matter; the Supreme Court in it's infinite wisdom has decided that we can make you buy whatever we deem necessary. And right now our friends at Ford Motor Company need our help".
Granny: "But I told you I can't afford to buy that car!"
Government Bureaucrat: Well I hope you like prison food. In the eyes of his excellency Lord Obama you are a traitor!

And so it goes...............

It is funny that it's the revenge of George Bush. He put Roberts in there. The last spit in conservative's eyes from curious George.

Of course it's more complicated than that but it's funny to see it that way. The mandate was approved by the majority of judges at every level, including some conservatives. Hard to blame Roberts.

My Dad used to tell me how conservatives used to put up "Impeach Earl Warren" signs and bumper stickers following Supreme Court rulings on civil rights and desegregation - even though Warren had been a dyed in the wool conservative himself!
I wouldn't be a bit surprised if we started seeing signs telling us that Roberts has to be impeached.

I get offended when people make it sound like we "want to see poor people die". Besides, there are already free clinics in many areas, and the Republicans never tried to shut them down.

I'm pretty sure most conservatives don't want poor people to die from lack of healthcare, but the simple fact is, that will be the end result, regardless.

Regarding his appointment of Earl Warren to the Supreme Court, ex-President Eisenhower was quoted as having said "Biggest Damfool mistake I ever made!"

Most "Conservatives" have, over time, at least come to be less violently opposed to civil rights. So let it be with Health Care.

You had better run this one past Ruveyn and Raptor. I'm pretty sure that they are very much in favour of poor people dying, from any cause whatsoever.

Him doesn't need encouragement.
Him gets his encouragement from within and it is an infinite supply........

They should just copy our system instead of fuddling around the way they are. We have it good here in Canada, Americans deserve the same treatment Canadians get. Plenty of them come up here to take advantage of it illegally, and to buy cheaper prescription drugs.

Well, it was the best we could hope for at the moment, after nearly a century of trying.

It should help cut down on the number of our illegals headed your way.

Yup. That way we can wait six months for a precautionary NMI scan.

Six months? Not even. Our healthcare is very reliable.
