Just mailed my ballot for Gary Johnson; my wife won't tell me who she voted for, only that it wasn't Obama. Note that we were both Obama votes last time.

As I'm not a US citizen I should probably mind my own business in this thread, but since the OP allowed non-US citizens to post, here goes...

Personally, I think Obama is a "better" person than Romney, but I just don't think that's is a sufficient (or even admirable) trait in a president. And since I live in Denmark, I am more concerned about the US economy (and Danish exports to the US) than all those intra-US abortion/gay rights debates.

IMO, Romney's economic policy is more robust than Obama's , and given the size of the US economy, an upturn could be a significant boon to the economic SNAFU known as Europe.

but that Paul Ryan dude seems... fishy....

I'll choose Eisenhower rather than either of the two, but last time I checked, he's not running for office...

This election is going to be very close, but Obama will likely get re-elected.

Probably off topic, but,

Obama's horrendous foreign policy has convinced me that I don't want him in office.

Never has someone been so inept when dealing with other nations, ESPECIALLY those in the Middle East.

I doubt the polls are really so close anyway. Willing to bet Obama will win by more than one percent point.

Well, as of this post, and according to this thread's poll, the odds in a two-way race are:

Democrats: 70.5%
Republicans: 29.5%

In a four-way race:

Democrats: 55.8%
Greens: 11.7%
Libertarians: 9.1%
Republicans: 23.4%

(All values rounded off to the nearest 1/10th percentile)

In just a little under two weeks, we in the U.S. will learn whether we will be further governed by Saul Alinsky's spirit child or by Mitt and his Magic Underwear.

That is some prospect!

Obama's foreign policy is a lot better than Bush's idea of foreign policy, although compared to Ron Paul, both have lousy foreign policy.

Agreed, but you try telling that to a die hard Republican or democrat and they will tell you the other candidate is evil incarnate. I want Romney because I want guns to get cheaper so I can buy a bunch of them and also to hopefully get rid of the healthcare mandate. I don't have any other hopes beyond that.

Barack, but only because I feel the nation won't be ready to seriously consider a third party until 2016.
