As a matter of fact, Fox had endorsed Conservapedia, coupling it with the "evangelical intellect."

I've no idea who Eric Holder is, but unless 'Eric Holder' is the collective name for a large, disparate group of individuals, then no, it's not.
Ah, you beat me to it...
Plus this idiotic attempt at censorship was reported widely anyway and the original sources were referenced by Wikipedia as usual - evidently not quite widely enough to reach Faux Noise.

Rubbish. That biased, ranty little article could have come from Faux itself.

...And you tell me you know more of what is really going on than I do when you don't even know who the hell Obama's Attorney General is? The same Attorney General that got hit with Contempt of Congress charges...

Actually, I first heard about the kiddie porn thing from Drudge Report, back when the original story broke.

Btw, considering I knew about Fast & Furious months before the left wing media finally was forced to report on it due to the contempt vote, I think it is rather safe to say that I am better informed on what has been going on than you are.

Inuyasha, your rants throughout WP are becoming increasingly incoherent and more to the point, borderline personal attacks.
Maybe you'd like to think about taking less of a knee-jerk and angry "yah-boo-sucks" point-scoring approach with your responses and discuss the points raised, on topic - instead of taking every opportunity to bang on about Obama (aka "the devil incarnate", apparently) and "liberals".
It's getting very, very old.

Cornflake, I suggest you read The Great Destroyer sometime.

I've tried posting sources in the past which people don't bother reading, so what is the damn point?

I've been accused of being racist, homophobe, misogynist, somehow inferior to others here because I'm a conservative, and between what happened a few days ago, the dishonesty of the media, etc. I quite frankly have had enough, sorry for biting your head off concerning this cause you largely are not one of the parties involved, but considering we have.

2 Dead US border Patrol agents due to Fast & Furious
1 Dead US Ambassador and then the President and his administration tries to blame it on a video and it isn't because that attack would have had to have been planned weeks in advance.
The flag torn from our Embassy in Egypt and replaced with an Al Qaeda flag, and the administration sides with fanatics.

The President apparently doesn't have time to meet with the Prime Minister of Israel, but does have time to meet with David Letterman as well as talk with 'pimp with a limp.'

So I think I have a pretty legitimate reason to be very angry right now.

Off topic - take it somewhere else.

Actually it is on topic, and here's how it is.

Fox News reported on the wikipedia porn issue, sites can and are changed routinely, that is a fact, however that's aside from the main issue.

The main issue is you guys constantly rail about Fox News, yet if you look at the attacks that happened 9/11/2012, CBS News didn't even bother reporting on it (at least not on the evening news). So where's the outrage about CBS?

Then you have the mainstream media getting caught on an open microphone trying to ambush Mitt Romney, and try to shape the narrative into bashing Romney rather than trying to figure out what the heck happened.

I've posted about this before and gotten bashed big time here, yet you guys laud and support anyone bashing Fox News. So is Fox News pushing for censorship or are you guys pushing to try to censor conservative media outlets?

Fact of the matter is that wikipedia could easily have scrubbed the most egregious pictures from their site and then claimed they were never there to begin with. I've seen websites scrub information about Obama from their sites less than an hour after they were reported on by Newsbusters.

No, your main issue. The main issue of this thread is its title.

No-one is censoring media outlets here, and Faux Noise is a laughable excuse for a news organisation.

So even as you attempt to refute what I said, you confirm it as true.
This thread is about Fox's attempt to censor Wikipedia - it is not a platform for you to launch further attacks on Obama or to air a list of your personal grievances with an assortment of events involving other media outlets.

No, I'm challenging the narative, this thread is about some people here wanting to censor Fox News.

I'm just pointing out the selective outrage.

Considering I've backtracked how this all started (something none of you bothered to do), which was fairly easy I might add, you guys are starting to look extremely foolish now that what started all of this has now come out. That information is later in this post.

Cornflake, word of advice don't argue with someone that actually pays attention to the news and has an extremely good memory...

Sanger sent a letter to the FBI earlier this month outlining his concerns and identifying two specific Wikimedia Commons categories he believes violate federal obscenity law.

The first category, entitled “Pedophilia,” contains 25-30 explicit and detailed drawings of children performing sexual acts. The category was created three years ago.

The second, “Lolicon,” provides cartoons similar in detail and depiction. One of the more egregious cartoons shows a rendering of a young child about to perform oral sex on a much older man.

Mr. Sanger was a co-founder of Wikipedia. I don't know about you, but I think the charge of distributing CHILD PORNOGRAPHY is a pretty serious charge. (I will be fair to Wikipedia and point out that it's entirely possible they didn't realize what was on their servers due to wikipedia's very nature.

Actually it is on topic. And here is a secondary source.

In April, Fox reported that Wikipedia cofounder Larry Sanger, who left the project in 2002, had sent a letter to the FBI specifying his concerns that at least two categories of the Wikimedia Commons archive — one for pedophilia and another for Japanese lolicon comics — contained dozens of images of child sexual abuse, in violation of Federal law. Wikimedia Commons is used to host images and videos displayed on Wikipedia.

Seems to me that all of this stems from Wikipedia's co-founder bringing to kiddie porn to the attention of the FBI...

So it really doesn't look like Fox News is trying to censor wikipedia, it seems more like they want wikipedia to monitor what is on their servers a little better, is it possible that they are over-reacting this time, maybe.

However, considering that Wikipedia's co-founder actually reported wikipedia to the FBI (which I don't think you knew about), seems to me that you guys simply didn't know the full story (as usual).

You still haven't addressed the fact that Wikipedia's co-founder had reported wikipedia about their servers having child pornography on them...
