a) Muslims never, ever talk about any of the other 'Prophets'. You talk about him more than you talk about God himself.

So his first name is Muhammad and his second name is Pbuh? Poor man's surname tries to sound like you're spitting him out of his mouth.*

* It's really rendered like (PBUH)

Yeah, the Mormons say something similar about their own prophet as well. What does it prove? Nothing substantial other than that he was a mere human being worshiped and idolized by many even long after his death.

That's no different from worshiping to me.

Well for an ordinary guy he certainly has made quite an impression.

To an outsider, it's not much of a positive one if you ask me.

Excuse me, but how many times is his name mentioned in the Quran? 5 times, while Prophets Jesus, Moses, Abraham, and Yusuf have their names mentioned way more in the Quran than Prophet Muhammad PBUH. We respect and love all the Prophets and don't distinguish between them for all of them came with the message and are loyal followers of God. However because Muhammad PBUH (Peace Be Upon Him[b was our final Prophet he's mentioned ore due to his legacy and impact on completing Islam, and he has a special honor in Islam for being the last Messenger.

PBUH like I said stands for Peace Be Upon Him.

What's wrong with admiring Prophets for their immense piety and devotion to righteousness, please tell me what's the problem in that.

You're deliberately confusing the Quran with Muslims today. Tut tut.

I'm not going to lie, there are Muslims who worship our prophet, which is a MAJOR sin. however, honoring and praising him for his beauty in character is not worship, and if it were, thousands of famous non muslims would be worshipping our prophet on account of all the beautiful things they've said about him. here:

You realise that to outsiders it looks to all intents and purposes like one and the same? And that's why we laugh at you all so much? It's even more ridiculous than Christianity, and I didn't used to think that that was possible.

And why are you posting an Islamic website? And why are you not taking into account the very specific circumstances that these quotes were said under?

Gandhi was trying to unite the Muslims and the Hindus and the Sikhs in order to get us lot out of India. He didn't want to provoke any tribe, so he said nice things about Islam. Suck up to people you want to influence and all that. I suspect that he wouldn't have been so nice about Islam if he didn't have to be.

Some would consider Osama Bin Laden a prophet I do not. I know little about Mohammed as a former Christian now athiest but I assume he must have been humble like Jesus and Mosus sent down to try and bring peace across the land carrying out god *Allahs* will?

Don't forget that Muhammad was the one reciting the Qur'an the whole time, so he would've had fewer chances of mentioning himself than mentioning others.

Dear Tequila, what is wrong with a life of peace, morality and devotion to God as you perceive Him?

There is everything wrong with it when you use your book to initiate violence, murder, terrorism, rape, torture, intimidation, slavery and a whole host of other nasty things against others. (And Christianity is as guilty as sin too, so don't come the "but other cults did it!" excuse with me.)

If Islam was a peaceful religion, it would have gone no further than Muhammad and a few of his close friends.

And you lay these claims against every one of the worlds 1.6 billion Muslims?

I lay it against a small but not insignificant minority of them (it's difficult to tell just how many this would apply to - in the UK alone the figures released by opinion polls a few years back were worrying enough and Allah only knows how many that would apply to in some of the Gulf countries or Pakistan), and I also lay it against the texts of the holy books themselves.

Perhaps there is a bunker you could hide yourself in?
