Overall, the left is more hateful than the right

What about that guy from Duck Dynasty?
Phobia/phobic=fear (I can marry a lesbian and fear her in some reverse dominance kink if I so please, Jesus wants me and my lesbian wife to be happy)
Hating homosexuals is more like advanced sexism, not a phobia.
Believing homosexuality is a sin is not hating those who sin in that way. Remember the warden from the Shawshank Redemption? He handed out bibles to rapists, murderers, child molesters, all of the most vile people there are. This is something I would do as well. In fact, my step father fits prosthetic limbs at a prison, and is a devout catholic. Why would we hate homosexuals at all if we give such terrible people a second chance with God? I find this argument against christian conservatives to be completely absurd.

Go back and read my first post in this thread. Just because a person isn't screeching and calling you names does not mean what they are doing is not deeply offensive, whether it's calmly and smugly assuming they have the right to tell you what to do about a pregnancy, whether you should be able to marry the person you love, or whether you deserve the taxpayers' assistance based on their judgment of the way you live.
You don't have to screech to be arrogant.
None of those beliefs is out of hatred at all. Just because someone finds someone else offensive, it doesn't mean the offender is a hateful bigot.

Equating homosexuality with rape, murder, pedophilia, etc. is offensive in the extreme. If you don't want people to screech at you, you might remember that. Or in the words of my late lamented Bubbe's favorite Yiddish maxim, "If you don't want to hear a cat yowl, don't step on its tail."

I would have to say that these words apply to both extremes. Saying that conservatives are not as quick to jump to name calling is blatantly false. It is simply the state of affairs in politics and media games in this country.
Standard operating procedure for all of modern US politics: use insulting terminology for your opponents, use skewed and/or cherry-picked and/or outright false studies and statistics, make unfounded accusations, distort and exagerrate any and all possible outcomes (real and imagined), slander and liable (which you can easily get away with by using words like "it seems" or "I think"), claim to be representing the founding fathers wishes, make a load of absurd "slippery slope" statements, motivate by fear, and point out the incorrect statements (and "incorrect statements") from the other side.

From my observations, I would say that a larger percentage of liberals regularly spew out hate filled crap (more often than not directed at Republicans and Libertarians), but the most disturbing and extreme examples are almost exclusively from the staunch conservative camp (usually directed at those deemed to be Hell-bound sinners).
Perhaps you should read a little more closely. The libs most definitely are more frequent with their bile spewing (IMO). I just feel that the most extreme of the hate-mongers are the conservatives (albeit a smaller percentage of the whole). Why do you think the liberals have so much ammo? Haven't you noticed that they continue to trot out the same few dozen idiots over and over again with round after round of idiocy? If the Repubs could just staple shut the mouths of some of their most ridiculous public figures, they could easily run away with elections for decades; and it would just take getting rid of a few elitist, alienating, self-righteous d-bags. The Dems would have to purge a larger number of their turds to accomplish the same thing.

Coming from the left, I consider all three to be compliments of the highest order.
Interesting take.

A bully is just as unique as your so called marginalized groups.
Are bullies just ret*d monsters? No. Just like LGTB folks aren't.
Being a bully to bullies is just as worse.
Uniqueness? What on earth does that have to do with anything? Generally, privileged bullies are not at all on the same level as marginalized groups.

If any of the elders in your family were still enthusiastic enough to keep speaking yiddish, you would obviously know I wasn't equating homosexuality to rape at all.

If a hardcore catholic is able to forgive such a hateful disgusting people that are in max security prisons, and see pity on them, handing them the word of God, why would he not do the same for people who sin in such a passive almost loving way as being homosexual?
You are just doing what these republican 'nazis' say you are doing. Don't assume every republican hates homosexuals, that is what the people who do hate them want you to do.
Your just defending them anyway, so I do commend you for that. Just stop eff'ng saying "stop comparing rape to homosexuality" already.

I didn't say you did. I merely stated to other people, in quoting the beliefs of the right you gave light to, that those beliefs are not out of hate at all, and that it doesn't mean the right is a bunch of hateful bigots.

What do you consider to be bile-spewing? How do you know it would continue after the right finally stops efforts to keep marginalized groups marginalized? There are some figures on the left, that are supposedly progressive, that do engage in such marginalization, too, such as Bill Maher attacking Sarah Palin's son with Down syndrome, but overall it is not inherent to the left to keep such groups marginalized. As GGPViper so helpfully posted, the GOP platform is downright homophobic, or hateful, or whatever you want to call it. It's all the same in my book.
Anyway, a lot of my motivation for being hard-hitting against wingers is when I see them disregard evidence of harm to marginalize groups, try to invalidate the day-to-day suffering members of those groups go through, and interfere with policy developments that may bring relief to those groups. When I see that, I get angry. A sense of injustice flows through my veins. In certain circumstances, I believe the release of that anger is appropriate.
My goal is to get the right to cease and desist in those actions or to at least render them powerless.

There are plenty of Republicans who display some pretty prejudiced opinions about a whole host of peoples, but the same is true for many Democrats as well. At this point in the game, I think there are few people left (anywhere on the political spectrum) that are actually 100% in favor of their party's complete official platform on every issue. It is very unfair to assume otherwise.

In my experience, they are bigots at least. Bigotry is willful ignorance. I have seen plenty examples of this on this forum when I present reliable, valid sources backing up my points, they more or less say they don't care how much evidence I present. That is willful ignorance, therefore bigotry.

I just stated I never said you said we were bigots, and now you call us bigots and willfully ignorant? Claiming anyone is ignorant is completely void if it is a matter of outright opinion. Why the heck am I ignorant? I don't recall claiming homosexuals were ignorant for believing they were not sinning! This is not even worth it, I was trying to keep you from looking bad!

To be honest, I don't need you to keep me from looking bad. That's just plain condescending.
And yes, I see willful ignorance constantly. There was a thread where I posted a wealth of medical evidence and my opponents posted none and yet they did not budge an inch.
Likewise, in a recent science thread.
It may not be everyone on the right, but this issue is pervasive on that side of the aisle.
As well, I am not a Christian, therefore I do not agree with your view of the Bible and the Bible is not a valid, reliable source for what is right or wrong.

I consider bile spewing to be intolerant and/or demeaning action and behavior toward someone you do not agree with.

The left does the same, just not to the same sickening extent as the most visible among the left. The left marginalizes groups as well. They might not be the goups you feel any empathy toward or believe deserve any consideration, but they are marginalized nonetheless: many flavors of Christianity, the wealthy, pro-lifers, gun owners among others.
