Anyone else a fan of Milo Yiannopoulos?
Does this make any of Milo's claims factually accurate, whether or not they were shtick, said in a spirit of meanness.
Are they living up to the misogyny, even if that is casual.
Yes, because I have standards, as a man. Under some conditions, I may wish not to participate.
Milo has accurately hit upon some of these conditions, and some are indeed caused by birth control.
I remember "Married With Children," portraying hetero marriage, in a disparaging light. It was directed by a lesbian, and starred a homosexual, who died of AIDS. The alt right is being forced to use people like these, as an advocate, probably because their voices have more value in a heterophobic society, like the Uncle Toms used to counter BLM radicals.
But, my wishes count for something. What if I prefer not to use an interpreter.
It used to be called sexist and racist, when women and slaves were not supposed to be unattended, in public. Now, unattended males are considered risky. What if I don't want an advocate.
Milo is right, some times, but I am only discussing it, academically, as though he's a poseur -- not a moral authority.
Let's see the gay and feminist community ask me what I think, personally, and honor my boundaries, if they're so inclusive.
Gavin has recently made good points, on the Jones show about how rules oriented and stifling you are. In real life, mice play when the cat's away. People rebel against your restrictive chickenshit, at the first opportunity, with all the joy of a prisonbreak.
You used to say that patriarchy created disgruntled, gay people. Now, unrestained progressives have created reactionary monsters.

Could you expand on this? I can guess what you're saying, but I like to be clear.
And what if they are? It's a bit like a Klan member advising black people 'you know, sometimes, when you commit acts of theft and violence, people don't like it. It's not a good public image. Don't you worry you're living up to the racist arguments?'. It's not even disingenuous. Again, it's pathological.
Uh huh.

I don't know. What if you don't?
Much as I enjoy arguing the toss, I would be reluctant to use my intelligence and reason to express something which could give succour (or even an argument) to Milo and co.

This has pretty much lost me. It reads somewhat like a quote from somewhere - is it? I don't know who Gavin is, or what the Jones show is, nor do I know who the 'you' you are addressing is.

Of course, it's probably quite a bit more complicated than that.
You know sometimes, between the dames and the horses, I don't even know why I put my hat on.
When blacks are open and notorious hoodlums, it gives the Klan moral highground. As a Jew, I would tell blacks not to do that.
I apply the same logic to contentious women. I am guilty as charged. That is the kind of reasoning I am using.
At least, be civilized in a platonic sort-of way, and the alarmists will have nothing to talk about.
Anyone, who wants to meet me halfway is fully capable of Googling that. We're in public. It's addressed to anyone. As I have repeatedly said, around here, short of harming others or acts of property damage, it's a free marketplace of ideas. Noone is being made to agree or disagree with me.
This isn't even difficult reading. Just open another browsers window. It's not that hard.

I'm kind of surprised. The Klan can never have the moral high ground, because they're pathologically racist. Frankly, my truculent perversity would come into play, and I'd encourage them to hoodlum good and hard, because f**k the Klan.
Why do you consider a contentious woman to be so?
And as far as I can see, your 'reasoning' is to give quarter to people who have no good claim for such generosity.
Thing is, they will. The hatred and anger does not come from the more 'outrageous' actions. It is already there, and being 'civil' will do nothing to get rid of it.
There's no dialogue to be had between Milo and co and feminists. No need to pretend so, or to think that if only things were 'civilised', it might get somewhere.

Well, I Googled and I got nothing. If it is a quote, and its being a quote is important, and if being 'civilised in a platonic sort of way' is part of your approach to discourse, you might go so far - if you will, half way - as to provide a citation or link.
As it is, whoever said it, I think it's bollocks.

Wouldn't that kind of drive more people to the Klan? Almost as if that was what they wanted you to do...

Much like early Howard Stern, I think the majority of Milo's audience is actually his haters, he's the internet equivalent of a shock jock, and he's only relevant because he succeeds in generating outrage.

And derisive, you forgot to parrot that part.
By the standard you're applying, Milo treats himself like a sexual object. It's not uncommon for gay men to be overly fixated on sex and sexuality, at least from a conversational point of view.
Are you suggesting that there aren't women for whom that might resonate? Because that's simply not the case.
By all accounts, if you're looking for advice on how to bed guys, you could do a lot worse than ask Milo.
No, I'm not a fan of Milo because I'm not a fan of attention-wh_res.

My standards for women?
The reason I bring this up, is because men are objectified. Men are considered expendable resources, to be consumed, as though men have no sayso.
Didn't feminism used to say that such a situation was immoral?
Then, women and feminists regard me as a potential rapist, much in the same respect that unattended blacks used to be considered criminals, and unattended women used to be considered vampish.
Didn't leftists used to say that such a situation was immoral?
No.
They are popular, alt-right commentators, who will come up in any search engine, particularly discussing gender issues.
youtube -> jones gavin show feminism
mgtow.com and affiliates discuss double standards, in text and visual media.
(Thoroughly edited myself for horrid typing.)
Here's a good interview with Milo -- his first since the Leftist rioting that forced his evacuation from Berkeley. The shameless fake reporting by the media is called out repeatedly by both Milo and the interviewer.
And if you ever wanted to know what a violent leftist riot looks like, the first minute or so will show you.

He's going up in my esteem, for his longevity if for nothing else, as I really thought he was a one trick pony when he rode GamerGate to notoriety. I do also think he's performing a valuable service in exposing the regressive elements of leftist academia, in a way that's difficult for anyone to deny.
