Some differing views of what constitutes racism, I guess. Or at least it's pardonable when said by the side they favor.

these days here in America, many seem to be saying racism is only racism when directed towards whites. :o

There's something pathetic about people, who faced with a shrinking job market, unemployment, and stagnant wages, decide the people responsible for their troubles are those who have it even worse. These are the same people who deny that blacks really have anything to live in fear of the police about, and say that there is no real economic disparity based on color, but who will scream and beat their chests over the idea that some jobs or business contracts will go to the underprivileged non-Caucasians. To this they'll yell, "But that is anti-white racism!" God forbid that they place the blame where it squarely belongs - with greedy corporations who'd rather pay starvation wages to third world workers slaving away in hazardous conditions, rather than investing in the economy of this country with good wages and benefits.

that is the whole truth behind that grim joke about how a union man, a worker and a CEO enter this room, and see a plate of cookies atop a table- the CEO snarfs up all but one cookie, then tells the worker, "psst, see that union man? he wants a piece of your cookie!" CEOs are considered Gods here in amuurica.

Thankfully, some of us still root for the union man and the working man.

:D

Yeah and I am sure you'd like to see Trump dressed up as Hitler, screaming rhetoric while his brown shirts go around beating up anyone who doesn't look right as well, so you have fun with that.

I still have my doubts that he'll stay the course. In the meantime it's fun to watch progressives wringing thier hands and screaming about the sky falling.

And where exactly are you seeing these progressives wringing their hands and screaming about the sky falling? That would imply we all think Trump is going to win......pffft. If he wins he'll only make things worse, but its a pretty big If I still have hope for Bernie and it would seem many others do as well. Perhaps I overestimate fellow americans this time around but I think its possible they'll elect Bernie and let Trump fume and fizzle out.

Its the trumpkins acting as though the sky is falling, such as punching those who disagree... and defending violence against people who express their rights to free speech and peaceful assembly.

You keep bringing up that ONE, POOR 78 yr OLD MAN who probably was swinging his arms because he forgot to take his Parkinson's medication that morning.
What about you guys pulling your little OCCUPY MOVEMENT with all of the riots and murders and drugs? Oh! And how about the burning down of Ferguson? That was all YOUR SIDE. Explain away those for me, will you pretty please?

If he was swinging his arms because he forgot to take his parkinsons medicine, why in the video clip does he defend his actions of punching the protester? Also I am not on the side of extremists actually....I never took part in any riots, murders or violence incidents tied in with that Occupy madness or tried to defend them. Yes I though it seemed like a movement with some value initially but it did get out of hand, I don't like what it disintegrated into. Though I don't really recall any specific occupy murders...per say. As for this furgeuson thing if I remember right it was definitely a lot more complex than 'the left' burnt it down. So don't really know why you're trying to lay that or occupy violence on me.

At least I am not condoning hitting protesters in the name of my preferred candidate like you have.

How many of these many Trump threads that we've had have we seen the left wailing and wringing thier hands over that terrible Trump and all the awful things he does and will do if elected?

Pfffft to you, too.

I don't see anyone 'wailing' or wringing their hands so much as I see people criticizing Trump and what they think he'll do wrong as president. IRL me and my friends/family discuss trump and why we think he'd make a terrible president as well as just general character traits we dislike and personality defects...but its never accompanied by hand wringing or wailing. And if he did become president and really quickens the process of things going to sh*t, I imagine hand wringing and wailing would not serve much purpose aside from wasting time you could be spending preparing for survival and having to rough it.

I also don't get the impression most her who post opposed to Trump are wringing their hands or wailing behind their computer screens really, but no way to really know I guess.

Okay, I admit, I completely misread the cat headed nurse' post about the 78 year old Parkinson's patient. I, for some reason, thought she was referring to Bernie making animated gestures as he spoke. But in my defense, I can't imagine anyone seriously defending a person who commits unprovoked, physical assault.

Trump could shoot someone point blank and Nurseangela and AntDog would still post their "Go Trump" nonsense. All I can say is if they're not using ctrl-c, then ctrl-v, they're setting themselves up for some serious carpal tunnel syndrome.

I have noticed the body language of DT, particularly the finger-pointing; it interests me because the received communication of any statement relies heavily on the non-verbal aspects (massive amount of research on this in the past 50 years) and though I respect that DT supporters may choose to reject that out of hand, this commentary was of interest to me:

cruz the ooze has worse body language than the rump, he smiles mirthlessly only with his mouth, his eyes just glare angrily. but his supporters don't seem to notice this.

Sometimes I wonder if Trump is really running for president, or just trying to satirize all of the racist, low information voters out there.
