If only I had ventured into PPR back then.

Can we agree that trolls on each side feed on each other's behavior?

You missed the Golden Age of PPR.

I miss Ruveyn's consistently hilarious (but always bang on point) one-liners, amongst other things.

Haven't seen Awesomelyglorious round these parts for a while. Whatever happened to the cabal of Strident Atheists?

The only actual troll I've noticed was that obvious sockpuppet who came and went.
But you know how it is for some. If they don't like someone, that someone is a troll.

I don't normally use the term. I hoped we could have a definition.

Ruveyn was a riot at times.

The one liberal that really cracked me up was WilliamWDelaney. He's the one that in a fit of rage threatened to tie me to a tree and sodomize me with a corn cob, and staple my eyelids open so I'd be forced to watch him destroy my belongings.

Later was Khaoz that wanted to drag conservatives down a gravel road behind a tractor until all thier skin was peeled off. I think he also wanted to cut our fingers of but I think the mods deleted that post. They may have possibly deleted him, too. Khaoz hated fisking with a passion and insisted that it was a sign of mental illness. He had an unparalleled loathing of conservatives and libertarians. He believed that certain conservatives and libertarians were paying the mods to pick on him.

Inuyasha was a conservative that could really tie certain people in knots. I loved to see him go to work on them.

I used to enjoy sparing with Vigilans (a.k.a.Vivian) who repeatedly insisted that I was a troll, of all things.

Ah, the memories.... :D

And how!! ! I've been called a troll, concern troll, sociopath, psychopath, twerp, douchebag, bully, moral degenerate, etc.
All, of course, were taken as compliments to be cherished forever. :D

I joined just in time to catch the last of the golden era. Then it seemed to go down hill where it just wasn't very interesting, more like boring.Hardly worth posting a reply.
The old Troll King AP was a hoot till he got banned. The first troll I ever met and the finest by far.You could always count on him to keep things stirred up with in a humorous way.I think his last thread was "do feminists like bathing suits" or something of that sort.Guess he pushed the limit with that one.

Can we agree that we can agree on nothing?

Yeah. Been one or two people over the years who were entertaining, who often had some great perspectives and arguments, but who also had a tendency to lose their sh*t and vault over the line.

Was AP perma-banned? I thought he bowed out after receiving a temp suspension, or was that someone else?

Just that one thing, then.

I think its way worse, this period has gone on way way longer than either of those. Good dialogue and discussion now seem much more the exception than the rule, the media is so much worse and things are way more polarized in general.

Almost forgot about AP. I don't know if he'd been banned that time but he had been banned before, ya know. He used to be Pandabear. I really think a forum like PPR needs a full time resident troll. I'd suggest nominations followed an election but we have people here that are, for whatever reason, so squeamish about trolls that I can't see it ever happening.
