Did we really land on the Moon?

Some historians believe Leif Eriksson discovered America.

I'm just wondering how long it will continue. Seventy five years? A hundred years?
Vacuum tubes aren't as good as they were 50 years ago. They were routinely used in electronics until the invention of the transistor.

Are they still being made by the same types of companies with the same standards or are they more like cottage industry knockoffs made with lesser standards?

If you don't have Trump Derangement Syndrome like liberals then you are probably immune to conspiracy theories due to your superior grasp of critical thinking and logic: isn't that how it works? I'm pretty sure that was how you laid it out.

No that's you putting words in my mouth. First off I never said I have a superior grasp of critical thinking. I said that I only strive towards critical thinking.
It's not that liberals have Trump Derangement Syndrome, it's liberals who exhibit Trump Derangement Syndrome. I have never seen you exhibit this behavior. Yet you seem to insist that it's being applied to you personally by me.
For example, if one refers to christian fundamentalists, one is not saying all christians are fundamentalists. When someone in PPR talks about christian fundamentalism, Kraichgauer who is a christian, does not act like that is being applied to him personally. As a matter of fact he uses the term himself. That's because he knows how to separate one thing from another.
Trump Derangement Syndrome is a satirical pseudo-diagnosis that pertains to excessive emotional reactions as well as aggressive physical displays of people directed towards things related to Donald Trump.
If someone is not displaying excessive emotional reactions as well as aggressive physical displays, then TDS does not apply to them.
But I guess since you are saying you have TDS, then you yourself are the only one saying those behaviors apply to you personally.

Most tubes are now being made in China. And it now a cottage industry that can't support hiring the best workers. It is likely that many of the trade secrets used to make really good tubes have gone to the grave. Trade secrets are actually better than patents for protecting inventions.

Some historians believe Leif Eriksson discovered America.
Of course he did. But as there were no permanent Viking settlements in America, and as memories of Vinland faded with time, nothing ever came of it, as contrasted to Columbus, whose discovery opened a floodgate of settlement and exploration into the New World.

Don't you think it's a logical fallacy to compare things that are for the most part not debated such as gravity, Columbus discovering America, or if you are typing your own post, to things that are debated such as the moon landing? False equivalency and all that? Things that get debated because they seem to have theoretical or hypothetical holes, as opposed to things that don't seem to have holes.

I was using sarcasm to point out your hypocrisy about liberals being so prone to believing conspiracy theories about Trump and Russia, when here you are going on about the moon landing being a hoax (I mean, was this whole thread a joke or do you really REALLY think it's possible that the moon landing didn't actually happen and it's all an elaborate lie and faked evidence?) Who is prone to conspiracy theories now? This thread (if it is genuine and not trolling) makes all your past posts about hysterical crazy liberals believing unreliable sources about Trump seem like psychological projection. If you are genuinely asking if the moon landing was a hoax, I think maybe you've been watching too much Alex Jones. Whatever you do, don't buy his supplements and start taking those.

Ah ha! What further proof is needed?
When I looked at the video below, I wondered why these so called sharp detailed images are anything but. Satellite imagery for a number of years has been much sharper and detailed than that. Anyone who's used Google Maps or Google Earth knows that.
Yet this thing is what they call a potato. As in the resolution of that picture is so bad it looks like it was taken with a potato instead of a camera.

What I have pointed out is people being completely convinced of something for which there is no evidence of whatsoever. They sate something as being absolutely definite beyond reasonable doubt based on conclusion obtained through conjecture.
Now if I was taking that same stance on the moon landings, that would be hypocrisy and all the other stuff you threw into it. Rather I'm just debating how I think it could have been staged hypnotically speaking based on my own personal conjecture on the matter. I am openly admitting that it's hypothesis based on conjecture, rather than trying to state it as being a fact.
It is not really a serious debate, but it is a legitimate one.
