Well ... one of the biggest problems with people nowadays is that they don't do enough independent history research.

The best way to see through media bias is to spend a bit of time and effort learning from scholarly sources. What you see in the news is either a simplification of the truth or an outright lie.

Here's the worst thing about Reagan's legacy: Too many people credit him for ending the Cold War.

In reality, it was Gorbachev who ended the Cold War.

I actually consider Reagan to be slightly better than Trump.

Reagan was a hypocritical windbag who preached Christian values while supporting Suharto's genocide, but at least Reagan was (relatively) cool-headed.

Trump is a hothead who could potentially start a nuclear war because he likes to act without thinking first.

I only rate republican presidents on how much progressives hate them. So far Trump has the lead by miles...

Most American conservatives seem to hate Kim Jong Un more than anyone else, but I agree that he's a piece of s**t.

You're essentially arguing that liberals are completely wrong, and that the opposite of what we say is always true.

The founders understood that the future of a free society rested with the right of the media to criticize the government, and anyone else. This attack by Trump and conservatives on the media might very well represent a genuine threat to American free government, and the birth of a new fascism..

Being critical of Trump's judgement, his intelligence, and his honesty is hardly the same as shouting fire in a crowded theater. You're just assuming Trump is being honest, despite all his years of screwing over workers and contractors, as well as his relationship with organized crime, but the media has to be lying because they are critical of your man.

And guess what, sometimes the theater is actually on fire.
