Good point. There should have been a war on media bias along with the war on drugs.

Well ... one of the biggest problems with people nowadays is that they don't do enough independent history research.

The best way to see through media bias is to spend a bit of time and effort learning from scholarly sources. What you see in the news is either a simplification of the truth or an outright lie.

Here's the worst thing about Reagan's legacy: Too many people credit him for ending the Cold War.

In reality, it was Gorbachev who ended the Cold War.

You mean after Reagan ordered him to tear down the wall?

So which one is the lesser evil, Reagan or Trump?

I actually consider Reagan to be slightly better than Trump.

Reagan was a hypocritical windbag who preached Christian values while supporting Suharto's genocide, but at least Reagan was (relatively) cool-headed.

Trump is a hothead who could potentially start a nuclear war because he likes to act without thinking first.

I only rate republican presidents on how much progressives hate them. So far Trump has the lead by miles...

What if liberals did that to conservatives?

Most American conservatives seem to hate Kim Jong Un more than anyone else, but I agree that he's a piece of s**t.

You're essentially arguing that liberals are completely wrong, and that the opposite of what we say is always true.

If I argued that suicide was wrong, would you kill yourself just to prove a point?

Are you aware that a free press is mentioned in the constitution? The founders understood that the future of a free society rested with the right of the media to criticize the government, and anyone else. This attack by Trump and conservatives on the media might very well represent a genuine threat to American free government, and the birth of a new fascism..

Free speech is also protected, and yet you might get arrested for yelling “fire” in a crowded theater.

Being critical of Trump's judgement, his intelligence, and his honesty is hardly the same as shouting fire in a crowded theater. You're just assuming Trump is being honest, despite all his years of screwing over workers and contractors, as well as his relationship with organized crime, but the media has to be lying because they are critical of your man.

And guess what, sometimes the theater is actually on fire.

Real Americans relish the clash and sting of battle.

Theaters would likely burn completely down within a day. THIS theater has been on fire since the 1950’s or 60’s. And yet still the air conditioning is great, sound quality is better than ever, and the high definition is stunning.

So...fire...

Fake. News.

It's only fake news to you on the right because you choose to consider alternative facts to be real. CNN and MSNBC will always be more truthful than Fox or Breitbart.

You have every right as an American to be misinformed. But I also have the right to offer a correction.
