It is my personal belief that we should lock our borders, only allow temporary visits, so families are allowed to see eachother. That stance has nothing to do with any kind of discrimination, it's based on the old saying, you have to help yourself before you can help others. Our country is a mess, we need to help eachother out, that includes everybody, all races, all people. We need to get a grip on all of these issues people are flipping out about. Discrimination is being poorly handled. Take this for example, a lot of Asians in the US are incredibly hard working and intelligent. By imposing diversity rules, we are actually descrimnating on Asians for their best qualities, holding them to a higher standard to prevent them from entering universities. That's a very good example of "diversity gone wrong" and is a form of racism. We are all supposed to be equal, it's very wrong to do those types of things just so the result will be more diverse, you are supposed to be rewarded for hard work and intelligence no matter what race or gender you may be, skill trumps diversity, that is the true foundation of equality.

I feel one in ortant thing to understand is Trump is not attacking any race, even though his statements can be poorly worded, that is a huge difference from attacking any specific race which is the big goal of the left, to prove he is being racist when he actually isn't. The way to prove that is pause for a second, decide to look for positive things he has said about Mexican's. I'm more than certain that everything he says about Mexican's is not negative. Which leads back to poor wording when he is trying to point out an issue. People get hung up on the smallest things and blow it way out of proportion. That's not just something concerning Trump either.

Condoms are a form of birth control, and many women (including myself when I was younger) use more than one method at once. Condoms break, pills and hormones fail. There is no 100% effective form of birth control. This is why abortion needs to remain available to women--because we can't be expected to just never have sex. There would be a whole lot of furious men in the world if women suddenly decided to use the only truly effective form of birth control, which is abstinence. Men wouldn't stand for that either, so denying women abortion rights seems counter-intuitive for men who want to have sex with women.

Lol. I agree with you, though you may be more responsible, it doesn't mean everyone else is. The combination of birth control medication and condom would seem to be the right approach. I'm unsure if this part is true but I have heard that we as tax payers actually participate in paying for abortions, as in our tax money goes towards abortions. If that is true I would stand strong on saying that is wrong, we should not all be responsible to pay for an individuals mistakes, I call it a mistake because getting pregnant unintended is a mistake. I would assume that the pill and condom combo would result in a dramatic drop in abortions needed. There are a lot of irresponsible people, I'm sure you could agree with me there.

I don't think men would be the only ones going crazy without sex. Lol. Love making is a beautiful thing to share between couples. Or just having sexual exploration in general. I just wish people would be more cautious. It hurts everyone involved, even with the option of abortions there is still the financial burden of paying for the abortion.

I watched a video about some kinda bird in Africa that has a much more disturbing method of getting rid of young it can't afford to invest in, where they will actually let it starve to death because they can't guarantee they will be able to catch enough food to feed both of their young. They plan to have two, but one is really a back up. So I consider our form of abortion a lot better than examples within nature. Also, I'm big on planned parenthood, not the slogan but meaning I personally would want the best opportunities for my child, which is why I don't have one because with my issues I would not be able to provide that. It sucks but it is the hand I was dealt.

OK, you seem convinced that most women are slutting it up and getting pregnant willy-nilly no matter what I say and what statistics on the topic I provide you with (I wonder if you even looked at them)--so I'm just going to stop talking to you now as it's like talking to a brick wall.

Lol, you obviously have no understanding of what I said. What part of what I said gives you that impression? You think all "people" are completely responsible when it comes to having sex? It's ok if you don't wish to talk to me but you seem to just be trying to find something to dislike about my comment.

Even illegal Mexican immigrants help our economy, so your argument is nonsense.

To give an example, left winged media was all over trump for wanting to build the wall at the border. Where were they when both Obama and Hillary suggested the exact same thing? Where was the left wing media when Hillary lied over and over again? They were on her side, so they didn't report on it.

Obama and Clinton didn't summon up the evil spirit of Anti-Latino bigotry and nativism like Trump did in order to encourage his wall.

Hmm. I wasn't sure he actually did that, are you sure that even happened of is that just the left spin. I watched some of his speeches when he was running for president, the myth that only racist whites voted for him was a left spin. I happen to have native blood in me, I never once saw him speaking hate speech, some of the things he said could be twisted, if you really are just looking to catch him being racist. He isn't that bright at speeches, people jump all over his speeches by taking things out of context and making a hateful spin with it. You know, alot of blacks, Mexicans, Latinos and Muslims voted for him, you can find them speaking out all over YouTube. You know it's a left spin when people interpreted "all lives matter" as hate speech. To me, that is ridiculous, who in their right mind doesn't agree that all lives matter??

Trump, in his declaration speech: "Mexico is not sending their best people. They're murderers, they're bringing drugs, and some of them, I assume, are good people."
He questioned if a Mexican American judge who had ruled against him could be unbiased.
Later, he quoted white nationalist sites, such as the completely fabricated claim that most white murder victims are killed by blacks.
Then there was the Anti-Clinton white nationalist meme with a greedy Clinton sharing the page with a Jewish Star of David. No, it was not a Marshal's badge.
He promised to halt all immigration from Muslim countries.
He suggested that the polls should be watched by what he described as "Red Shirts," against voting fraud by who he described as, "You know who I'm talking about!" And indeed they did, as Trump supporters watching for voters voting more than once said they were keeping an eye open for Latinos and Blacks.
Stephen Miller, Trump's Jewish Nazi. 'Nuff said.
Yes, there were minorities who had voted for Trump, but the mass majority of them did not.

Link me to some of these articles so I can research them. It's best to take information in with a grain of salt, media manipulation has gotten extremely bad these days, and it is all media. I will even watch his whole speech to make sure things weren't taken out of context, to quote a few lines just doesn't do it for me.

That isn't from any articles I've read, but from what I remember seeing on the news.
No, most news, outside of the likes of Fox, Sinclair, and Breitbart, is actually reliable.

Just to help out, the reason I laugh is because I'm able to discuss without any feelings of anger, to keep the mood light. In that particular reply to you, I was laughing at the statement " men would go crazy ", the reason it was funny is because women enjoy sex also, thus adding the comment that men wouldn't be the only ones going crazy. The statement about the combination of pills and condoms was to point out a factual way of lowering the chance for pregnancy. The idea that all women who had an abortion practiced sex safely is unrealistic, many people do all kinds of things irresponsibly. Though the percentage of women getting abortions did use birth control, their is no denying that it's not 100%. I added a suggestion to lower even that percentage of abortions by giving an extra safety measurement, on the pill and using a condom. Logically, that would lower the chance. The idea that every woman getting an abortion was on the pill and used a condom that broke is even more unrealistic. I can't think of a way to write it any better. I even stated that I agreed with you, sheesh.

That is nonsense. Illegal immigrants do not pay taxes and take jobs from legals. Also, a lot of cartel members move drugs & people across the border, you really think that helps America? You know they have placed videos on YouTube chopping peoples heads off for snitching, right? All people that crossed the border aren't bad people, but there are a lot of them that are bad, to suggest we shouldn't be able to monitor people crossing our border is illogical. The idea that it doesn't matter that people are here illegally, work and do not pay taxes yet use our resources is illogical. There are very good reasons we screen people coming into the country, to insist that and citizenship is pointless is completely ridiculous and is not based on logical thinking in any kind of way.

The freedom, and the importance of the press, had been enshrined in the constitution. It keeps the government accountable. This demonizing of the media by the right is a step toward fascism. As bad as Fox, Sinclair, and Breitbart are, I'd rather have them - along with the moderate and liberal news outlets - than see the government get away without media scrutiny. Trump calling certain media "fake news," and "enemies of the people" is proof that he wants to emulate the autocrats he so admires.

When the media itself is not held accountable for creating disinformation it makes it pointless to have, it becomes a propaganda machine. Media is important to have but it's equally important that the information they provide is accurate. Just claiming left media outlets are accurate and trust worthy and will never lie to you to push an agenda doesn't make it factual. When it can be confirmed, opinion doesn't matter. Opinion does not trump fact.

Don't confuse Fox or MSNBC for real objective news media. Opinion is by definition propaganda.

This isn't the "right" speaking, it's me speaking. If you want to insist left media outlets do not lie and distort truth, perhaps I should just go ahead and prove you wrong. I'm very autistically challenged, lol. Translation, I will use my obsessive skills to expose left-winged media lies and create a thread specifically for it, since we can both agree that right-winged media lies there is no need to include them. I will start my research tomorrow :D I may not post the thread tomorrow but I will be gathering information for my assault on the idea "left winged media is always accurate". I'm going to give it a rest for tonight. I don't work so I have all the time in the world. 8O :D

But Trump's accusations of fake news apply to all news, not just the opinion outlets. He says that about anything negative, it's not about truth for him.

I'm supposed to take Trump's word over the mainstream media? Trump, who's a serial adulterer? A crooked businessman who cheated his own workers and contractors out of pay? Who winks and nods to white nationalists? Who denigrates our allies, but befriends autocrats? Who may have committed treason for the sake of higher office? I'll take the media.

I'm back just for a second. I had to write to somebody. Don't go changing the subject on me, both of you were suggesting that left-wing media outlets are "pure truth, news you can trust!". My whole assessment is we have no idea who we can trust because "all" media distorts reality and pushes agenda. So to quote "their" information without good fact checking research is pretty pointless in my opinion.

I don't trust most of the government, that includes Trump. I think they are playing games, the true objective is being accomplished, more and more of our freedoms being striped from us. It seems the only result in all the mayhem is government having a say in nearly every aspect of our lives to a degree that even freedom of speech is being targeted.

Okay, the media on both sides of the aisle have at times played fast and loose with the truth, but it certainly seems like the right tends to do it more often.
