As far as I know enemies don't check baptismal records. They just shoot.

I wouldn't call bulldozing Palestinian homes to build Jewish only cities on top "tolerant". I wouldn't call 52% of Israeli Jews agreeing that "African migrants are a cancer" to their society "tolerant".

So you were against apartheid in South Africa but support it in Palestine?

What was the behavior that warranted the African migrants being called a cancer, John? Or, do you believe that being alive is reason enough to be welcomed into the bosom of a foreign country?

The PLO/PA and the whole world virtually has supported the two state solution since the mid 70's. The US started vetoing it since 1976 and has done so ever since. You want to go down this road? It won't end well for you.

They stole land during the 6 day land grab. Israel doesn't have an army like that now. In 2006 they got sent home crying by Hezbollah. In 2014 soldiers had to start wearing nappies/diapers when Hamas etc started fighting back. Israel prefers just to bomb everything in site.

The wrong race, or the wrong number John? How big is Israel? How many THOUSANDS of African refugees descended on them? With NO means to house or support themselves. Half were sent away, half were kept. And not because they changed color. Which is it John, more land or less people? You can't take in more refugees unless you have more room.

No doubt Israel has a right to exist. However, Palestine also has a right to exist.

This "might makes right" stuff is a complete non-starter for me. I don't buy it for a second. I can understand the "realist" approach - "there's no point trying to change it as we won't succeed" - but there's a gap between "is" and "ought" and reality does not need defending.

I support a two-state solution based on the 1948-1967 borders, with some clever compromise on Jerusalem (possibly making it an independent city state like the Vatican) and pragmatic land exchanges where they can be mutually agreed. Both nations would need access to the coast, and a way of joining their enclaves. Both nations would need to be multi-cultural, with a strong emphasis on human rights and integration. I also oppose antisemitism in all countries, including Israel's neighbours - and while that's important, it doesn't absolve Israel of the responsibility to get its house in order. I don't claim to have all the answers, but I'd like to see something along those lines.

Both. I don't disagree with stopping a flood. But Palestinians should have the right to return or a just settlement. You don't seem to have a problem with Jewish immigrants flooding in from across the world though, and Palestinian houses smashed down so new colonies can be built on top.

There will never be a two state solution. As the US is paying for the illegal settlements on what would have been a Palestinian state. Israel needs to be boycotted, divested against and sanctioned. One state solution is the only way now.

When there is a ruler or culture that becomes racist against white people there isn't as much global outcry as the reverse. Remember, only white people are the most racist in this world.

People have a history of being racist---whether they are white, brown, black, pink, or polka-dotted.

I don't feel there is much "hatred of whites" even amongst most liberals in the United States.

Jewish immigrants flooding into where? I've never know there to be enough Jews to flood in anywhere. If you are referring to the 1950 law of return, that supersedes refugees showing up on a small country today.

Fact is, the Palestinians don't have anything the world wants. And they've never had anything the world wants. Israel has something the world wants, so they will keep moving forward and edging the Palestinians out.

You and thinkinginpictures think that when I say, 'the right,' I mean right. I'm not studying right and wrong, that's for God to sort out. What I am focused on is how it goes. Who focuses on the Kurds at the UN? I mean really gives a s**t about whether they live or die? The answer is nobody. Is it tragic? Probably... but, it's a fact. Who gave a s**t about Tibet, besides the potheads riding around with bumper stickers on their cars? Now, who in power gives a s**t about Palestinians? Nobody. It's the truth. And not John, nor you, or thinkinginpictures is going to do a damn thing but sit on here and virtue signal. Is it sad? It could be. This is nature, this is social darwinism. But you've convinced yourselves that sitting around being sad about something is an action. Palestinians could get together their best minds and come up with a way to begin again and survive. But, they've chosen the path of extinction, because they lack the ability to adapt.
What do a bunch of Baboons do when a bigger group takes their spot? They MOVE! And they live to fight, breed, eat another day. We are not that far from animals, but you go ahead with your high ideals. I'm sure some Palestinian in a boiling hot tent is grateful.
