The media’s no better — they’ve become political echo chambers. Certain outlets will only hype the parties they’re aligned with, no matter how bad things get. At least with someone openly disagreeable, you can see their intentions. The danger lies with those who wear the mask of moral superiority while feeding from the same trough of power and control. What we’re seeing isn’t progress — it’s performative morality packaged for profit, and it’s poisoning both art and politics alike.
Trump and the right-wing movement in general? Yes, at least people can see their intentions. Meanwhile, the left-wing protects and gets away with a lot of s*** while projecting onto the right.
If I had to make a threat assessment of who the bigger existential threat to society is, it would be the left, by far. I know that not all of them are evil, but just misguided sometimes.
