That is not what I said and you know it.

I said the rape victim would be getting the equivalent of minimum wage * number of hours rapist works (which is at least 40 hrs a week/probably more). I don't think anyone would be opposed to this idea whether conservative or liberal cause the rapist isn't getting any of the money, the victim is.

Nobody pays prisoners anywhere near "the equivalent of minimum wage." A typical prisoner might earn wages totalling $35 per month, which is not enough to support a baby.

Why do you think that chain gangs are so popular in the South? They're even cheaper than Mexicans.

The Conservative solution for rape victims is to put the baby up for adoption. If the rape victim asks for welfare to support the baby Conservatives will immediately denounce her as a Welfare Queen.

"Conservatives" believe in what they call the "Prosperity Gospel": people who are rich are rich because they have been blessed by God, and God has found favour with them (unless they are Jewish). The Biblical Fundamentalist solution is for the rapist to marry the victim and pay 50 shekels of silver to the rape victims Father. With this solution the Woman avoids becoming a Welfare Queen and the Conservative gets his tax break. However in all fairness the Bible gives the Father the right to forbid the rapist from marrying the victim.
