Newt Gingrich wants to bring back orphanages, to take forcibly the children of "Welfare Queens", so that the "Welfare Queens" will be forced to find employment. Once contraception, abortion, sodomy and masturbation have been outlawed, the orphanages will be necessary also to warehouse the glut of unwanted children.

Under the Inuyasha plan, if the woman cannot support the rapist's child on $35 per month, then tough titties. They can both die in the gutter.

Under the Newt Gingrich plan, the woman will never see that $35 per month. Once the rapist's child is born, it is off to the orphanage, so that the rape victim will be able to work right away, without the child getting in her way.

What these Conservatives don't realize is that orphanages are more expensive than welfare. But it isn't about the money it's about the most mean spirited policy.

Its the Conservatives that encourage abortions by telling pregnant women to drop dead when they need help. Liberal policies are far more effective in reducing abortions because they meet the needs of pregnant women.

Not to mention trying to make contraceptives available so that unwanted pregnancies don't occur in the first place.

Now, you are claiming that you just aren't a stupid moron. The reason you cite for not regarding "Conservatives" as mean-spirited is that you are not a stupid moron.

You would have to be quite stupid not to regard "Conservatives" as mean-spirited.

There are so many different kinds of conservatism and different kinds of liberalism too - massive generalisation.

A classical liberal might say that abortion is legal but you fund it out of your own pocket. Or that it should be illegal.
A conservative might have very little objection to abortion, if he/she is more towards the left-wing of conservatism.
